FreeShop has nothing to do with the key database, they are developed/managed by two completely different people.


Neither of those games is available in the titlekey database, until someone purchases the game and contributes the titlekey, they won't ever be available via FreeShop.


Buy the game and contribute the key.
So long as the key isn't available on that titlekey site, it will never show up in any CDN-based downloader.

Lol, that feeling when people use the English name for a game only shown in Japanese on the titlekey database

Looks like it doesn't exist in the cache though. May be an issue with cache generation, or it was encrypted after the last cache build 6 days ago?

Because is not on the freeshop? And qr install with fbi takes forever even with my 5 mb internet? Like seriously, thing goes for 300-400 kbps download with fbi. Kinda messy.

There are other options. CIAngel, FunKeyCIA, FunkyCIA2, CDN-FX, etc.

Well I'll give you CIAngel. I forgot that that thing exist. Everything else falls flat for me because i no longer have a working laptop,

Its saying loading Gamelist and then goes to home menu automatically? How can i fix that?

how do i update the game (MHX)? the game im playing has an update but sadly freeshop doesnt seem to detect the update. how i know this is because when i open the game it has a prompt that asks me to press y to select method to update(3ds eshop or something) sorry im using a new3ds japanese version and not familiar with the char.

Until someone dumps the titlekey for the update, I don't believe FreeShop will be able to actually download the update. If it's an out of region game, you will need to wait for the update key to be dumped, put in the database, and encrypted.

Or go on some shady iso site and download the update.

I made an account just to ask this i keep getting Wrong title key errors when trying to get new games, i updated lumas even used Star updater as someone else Suggested. My 3ds is fully homebrew with Armhaxloader. I wasn't having this problem when i was using it a few weeks ago on top of that i even re-downloaded all the nessisary files like the
decTitleKeys and such i litterally dont know what to do i need answers. I cant even download updates for my physical games from the regular eshop.

You should be using https://github.com/Hamcha/lumaupdate/releases to update Luma3DS. Star Updater is broken unless you're using the UN version, so just use LumaUpdater. It makes it easier for everyone.

It needs the enctitlekey.bin. It's ENC not DEC! Find the title key site, find the long orange button with a square green button attached to the right of it, click on the square green button and it'll bring up a QR code, go to settings in freeShop and click on update, click on the tiny QR code icon and read the QR code. Check auto update. The latest freeShop is 2.2.0 at https://freeshop.pw/.

I too have recently started getting this error on everything I try to download even setup a brandnew O3ds and it also gives the wrong titlekey on everything.

EDIT:Make sure in Luma Settings you don't have Dev UNIT Turned on as I Did and Forgot about it. this caused my issue

Use the right title key? You need enctitlekey.bin or enctitlekey to download from Nintendo CDN. dectitlekey is for uploading to the title key site or encrypting your own keys.

I had the right title key it was setup with the QR code which there is only 1 QR code and its only for the enctitlekey.bin. My issue was I Had DEV Settings turned on when I was building something and forgot to turn it off. Which may also be his issue as well

He said he's using dectitlekey so I'm taking him at his word. I'm not NSA or CIA, I can't see what he's actually doing.

Hi. I'm still having the problem with freeshop where I go to boot it, and it just hangs at the "homebrew" screen and never starts. I think it started after I updated my 3DS to 11.3.

I have A9LH and Luma installed, and everything else I have works just fine. The only app that doesn't work is freeshop.

I've already uninstalled it, deleted the folder and everything else that was said to do on here.

Is there something that happened because of 11.3? Something I forgot to update? Luma is updated, HBL is updated. I don't know what else to do.

And CIAngel is icky :<

Please help.
