g'day. So I bought a used Wii U a couple days ago for $125 CAD just to play MK8 and BOTW. I've gotten my Wii U all homebrewed up and gotten a few games installed but I only have an 8GB SD card (ordered a 32GB off of amazon 1 day too late and wont be coming in till Monday :'( ) So I was wondering if there was any way possible to get BOTW on my console without waiting till monday for my 32GB sd?

you have two options and both need to have at least 13gb of free space:
1) sd for loadiine
2)hdd for home menu install

Yeah I have a 16gb USB Drive so that's not really any issue. Gonna be a long 2 days :/ FeelsBadMan

Nope. The game requires too much space. I also don't recommend playing it through loadiine, the game will lag and pause to load frequently and is generally unenjoyable when you have to sit through a 5 minute loading screen just to start the game.

Grab yourself a 16 or 32 gig flash drive to install it to usb. Most people and guides say to use an HDD, but for just a few games and less money, a standard flash drive works well. There are several guides to USB and CFW installs and its honestly easier than I expected. I just switched from loadiine to USB & Haxchi myself yesterday and its way better than loadiine. I was also able to transfer my savefiles over pretty easily too.

I used haxchi, which requires buying or already having a specific nds game from the eshop. Mocha is free however. Haven't tried Mocha, but it would be as simple as using the homebrew app store to install. (I already had a haxchi compatable game, so i went all the way in with CBHC.)

Good luck!

i think there's a new loadiine beta version that supports fat32 devices now, you just need to create required folders inside your 16gb usb and put the loadiine app there along with the decrypted game files
i dunno if botw is working with loadiine or not at the moment, but feel free to try it

Yeah setting up Mocha and the HBL was extremely easy. A lot easier than hacking the original wii or 3ds to be honest.

It's a development version of Mocha that uses both the app and game on fat32. If loadiine gets fat32 support, loadiine would still run from the SD. Botw has a reported 20 minute load time on loadiine.
