What may I ask is different in the new CC selector plugin? I was hoping it would affect the CPU characters also but after testing, it didn't. I couldn't notice any difference.

Did you enable it in the NTR menu itself in MK7?

Yes and I did get the speed increase, but the CPU characters did not. Which makes it very boring and just a cheat instead of a fair playing field which would make it actually fun.

The cpu gets the speed increment, but for some reason, they "don't want" to go at full speed. The best experience is playing with someone in local multiplayer.

It's just strange that the old plugin gives the opposite results with no boost for me but the CPU gets it. Probably due to me testing on a USA game when it's for EUR only which I noticed afterwards. Unless you can combine the changes somehow.

I guess I may just have to give up since no one I know locally plays the game. The only one I have to play with is a couple thousand kilometers away so no local play.

I do get the speed boost on my Kart so I do have it enabled correctly. I enable it right after starting the game at the first menu.

Do it before starting a race, at the OK button.

Could you add Dry bones? That would be as simple as a few texture hacks (and maybe a sound effect mod).

Probably not. That tends to happen when you complete the 4th normal/retro cups of each engine class. So, it's normal (unless you used a cheat.plg to unlock everything).

Noob here... I currently CTGP-7 installed (Hans method). I also installed the offline .cia. I also have the original MK7. Can also I install the NTR Method on top of the CTGP cia. i already have installed? Or should I delete it first? I don't see an option to use custom tracks in the version I have. I guess because I can't update the hans version on 3ds? I'd rather just update from 3ds if possible.

When I launch CTGP-7 through the NTR method and launch MK7, the game is unmodded. I have tried NTR versions 3.2, 3.3 and 3.4, and I am using version 0.12.1. I have the latest version of Luma CFW installed on 11.3E.

It might have something to do with your save file, since I can't replicate it...
