Hardware Black screen after removing the apu plate

Hey guys, i recently bought a picofly kit for my v2 switch, and was going to assemble ot yesterday with some friends

I made sure to check all of my steps while removing everything untill I reached the APU, I was doing it very carefully to make sure I didn’t butcher anything while removing the cover, but one of the guys tried removing the plate while I was looking for a screw and now it seems like it died

I’ve looked around the APU to make sure all caps were there and working fine, but one of them to the left side of the apu apparently went flying about, I know it’s for WiFi/Bluetooth but it’s still a missing cap, and I just wanted to ask if that would cause the switch to not boot.

Other than that, I’ve read that I need battery to boot the switch and even though there are no traces of it, it’s still an option that I am considering.

Also, is it still worth it to try and install the modchip just to check if it would fix something? Even if the switch only booted into the picofly firmware that’d be better than nothing.

If it won't boot now, it won't boot with a picofly installed.
Usual suspects are missing caps and scratches on the motherboard that occur when removing the APU cover.
That missing cap could be your problem.

If you can take good pictures, maybe someone in the picofly thread can help :
