The exploit was fixed by Nintendo? No you can't downgrade from 11.3 yet, unless you have a9lh and a 11.2 NAND backup.
The method used to downgrade 11.2 (fasthax+safehax) was patched by Nintendo. The exploit was fixed by Nintendo?
I knew it. Can I use "Downgrade NFIRM with DSiWare and a second 3DS (which already has CFW)" ?The method used to downgrade 11.2 (fasthax+safehax) was patched by Nintendo.
No. We can't downgrade from 11.3 yet. AT ALL.I knew it. Can I use "Downgrade NFIRM with DSiWare and a second 3DS (which already has CFW)" ?
Not just that, since Home Menu also get patch to require lastest NFIRM.The method used to downgrade 11.2 (fasthax+safehax) was patched by Nintendo.

The old route (9.2 Downgrade using Old NFIRM) is dead too.
Also, From the look of Homebrew payload creator, they also patch that make it's hard to create new payload.
So, 11.3 may be a deadend.

looks like we have a solid path to fixing this 11.3 crap soon. have shitty POC now, hoping to get basic test payloads running tomorrow night

He said something about droping kernel access which require for downgrading. If he can fix that then it's good.https://twitter.com/smealum/status/829234745166983172
smea's made some headway.
"may be"Not really.

Until sighax come, the current state is dead end. And since I don't know when or will it come out.I read it properly. Still, as i said, it won't be
Agree. The new exploit will be harder and more harder to find.Downgrading from 11.3 is likely dead until sighax is implemented and released. At that point, hardmod (and DSiWare, probably) should be valid paths for installing it.
Otherwise, it would require, at minimum, a new ARM11 kernel exploit and a new ARM9 exploit.
Not really, sighax requires a way to write to NAND, unless 11.3 magically made the NAND read-only you could install sighax via hardmod.Downgrading from 11.3 is likely dead until sighax is implemented and released. Yeah? That's what I said. My "otherwise" was for a method not involving a hardmod or DSiWare. Not really, sighax requires a way to write to NAND, unless 11.3 magically made the NAND read-only you could install sighax via hardmod.
The way you worded it made it sound like hardmod isn't a plausible way yet.Yeah? That's what I said. My "otherwise" was for a method not involving a hardmod or DSiWare.
It's not because sighax isn't publicly released. The way you worded it made it sound like hardmod isn't a plausible way yet.
