I'm a new user to JKSM Save editor when I go to download it and open it picture I will show will show the message edge keeps showing another question would be when backing up using action replay does that re encrypt the save data? because I noticed when I backup using saves I'm thinking it might thanks for all the helpful people who replied to this thread

never seen that before. jksm works very well though in case ur wondering. I was able to transfer all saves but one which seem to have gotten corrupted due to gateway.

same when I went to import save because of the new way to use homebrew I only experienced corrupted save data when I went to make a backup after having a safe backup its odd hopefully they fix it

Because 'SmartScreen Filter' is a crap anti virus. It's just a false positive.

it could be corrupted on the cart. I converted all of my saves to cia saves. u know, maybe I should post my 3ds tutorials on here. I have one on converting gateway games and one on converting saves. I already have tutorials on the ps3 and the 360 here.

does action replay re encrypt save data file? because when I go to reuse homebrew it says something about reinstalling software small error nothing huge and beware of using fake code for Action replay I tested it and its gamebreaking ill explain it it gives you whatever your pkmn trainer's name is and when going into grass or battle it bricks the game and reboots straight into the home menu

just curious because when I use action replay just to fix the corrupted save data file pkmn moon it worked 100% due to data breaking from the backup I made using JKSM be very careful using it I found out by testing it out I been trying to use pkhex just to test it out because I always wanted to use Homebrew to test it as well as use it

HomeBrew Detection can Nintendo detect the home brew installed on a Console or is it possible for them to detect it then ban that device from connecting online (Experts only)

No they can't detect it unless you're explicitly hacking online.

Let's say I boot it up automatically connects to the internet via home wifi then use homebrew while it's connected not like me going online though the game then using it because that would be impossible technically speaking detectable still?

Icirrus I was just unsure about how the detection worked because they hack/cheat it themselves but they sit here and tell us we are wrong for doing it don't that sound mad hypocritical? Especially from the pkmn company Doing it for profit I think people don't see the reasoning of why we do it as a community sometimes even for the community

Icirrus I don't know why it did that but very helpful that also reminds me don't use action replay pkmn moon wondercard modifier

from me testing it out its gamebreaking it's odd to explain at first I performed the code right after I get the pkmn I want it gives you whatever the trainer aka your trainers name appears as a Bulbasaur due to the game not recognizing the entry put it into the party run around in the grass engage into battle then crashes it back to the home menu I'm thinking it's more of a crash then game breaking bad news for the code first time I ever seen that happen inside a pkmn game besides walking though walls glitch destroying the main save data bad egg when it's hatches destroys game data as long as you leave it in the PC and remove it game should be 100% safe this is why I research this but I always have a BackUp of my data better safe then sorry is my rule of thumb

Yeah that's fair enough. What I did was buy another copy of the game purely for hack research. I got like 7 3DS consoles so I use 1 to hack and stuff. That way I can be sure my main 3DS doesn't get banned

It's fixes balancing issues and some stuff like Z-memento working online

Icirrus ya tested out pkhex still works just tested it out z-memento? I'm guessing the slowdown with z moves I'm guessing pkmn ride fixes as well because at certain points it would hesitate but it seems smooth
