So I have been following this guide: www.youtube.com/watch?v=svPRk_bDYts
to install cfw on my new 3ds. When it asked me in decrypt9 if I wanted to create a backup of my NAND the first time, I did not have enough space on my SD card. Now, I am on firmware 2.1.0, and when I chose "NAND Restore keep a91h", it told me there was no usable file found. At this point I don't know what to do, just leave my 3ds open and avoid any updates on 2.1.0 to avoid bricking it. Is there a way to backup NAND with a bigger SD card? Please help:blink:

Why youtube guide use the official guide on 3ds.guide use the 9.2.0 method he has on the guide and follow it. That'll bring you back to an update which you can then use to re update your 3ds

Okay. When this is all said and done, will I be able to go back to 11.2.0-35? I want to be able to access the eshop etc.

OK, so I finished all the steps in the link, but when I choose health and safety dump in decrypt9, it said it failed. Is there any additional steps to take after these? I am also not seeing Luma 3DS on my home screen.

Will I be able to install unsigned cias? I think I have FBI already...
yes, you will also be able to get back the tickets you lost with tikshop.

press select directly after hitting the power button to open luma options. and you want to inject into health and safety, not dump.

Ok. I am still getting an error with the health and safety inject as well. It says it won't work on A9LH etc. I figured out the Luma options though.

I can access the Luma options with select, and decrypt menu holding x. I have soundhax to access the homebrew launcher, and am now on firmware 11.2.0-35. I see nothing to indicate cfw on my home screen though. I have been following this guide https://3ds.guide until my sd card was too small to make a backup of my nand. I fixed that, but I guess I don't know where I left off...sorry for the confusion.

Thank you! That seemed to do the trick.

I have successfully installed some snes cias, but since I have a Japanese N3DS the Japanese (Super Mario World) cia will work, while the other two US ones (Pocky and Rocky 2, Pop n' Twinbee) I installed will not. Is there a way to play cias for a different region? Does Luma 3ds have a region free patch?

Following this : https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Options-and-usage
The section is "Enable region/language emulation and external .code:"

Ok. I will try that then. I have already tried looking for title ids for the snes games, but can't seem to find them in the list. It seems to be just the 3ds games. Is there another place that provides the title ids?
