Hi!
I just bought a real cheap Wii from a guy,
He said it was hacked already, ok.
It does have Homebrew Launcher in the menu screen, and also does have the USB Loader GX in the home screen.

But when I open it throught the menu screen, the USB Loader GX shows a load splash screen, then the controller goes off, and it returns to the home screen then the controller lights on again...

Well, I tried to start it directly from the homebrew launcher, running the loader from the homebrew will open, but, I CAN'T start any game, I tried to load mario kart, it goes to a black screen for a time, then goes back to homebrew launcher home screen, and then NOTHING...

I tried it with a flashdrive with 8gbs,
There's no sd in it, and looks like I am able to load games from both usb slots from behind, at least its what the configs in gx loader says.

I don't know anything about modding a wii :( So I don't know if it have a cfw or something like this, I understand about modding consoles, but not wii yet, short time with it..
I don't know if it have a cios? (TBH, Idk what is the cios x_x sorry!)

Sorry for not researching more about to try to figure it out alone, Well, usually I do like this, that's how I modded my 3ds, psp, xbox classic etc..

But I'm going to travel in about 10 hours, so I have 10 hours to make it work, I wish to take the wii with me to play with my brother who I don't see a long time, we loved to play n64 emulators in pc to play mario kart, Now I wish to give him the real experience, but, IDK WHAT TO DO!!!

OK, so these are the information.

White Wii in 4.3 I think (can't remember, its 4.x)
Wii mote and nunchuck and pro controller
I do have a hdd with 150GB
I do have a flash drive with 4gb and another with 8gb
NO Sorry I don't have an SD CARD, neither an adapter for microsd at moment! :(

Is there something to do?
PLZ GIVE ME A LIGHT AT THIS !!!!

Hi. You will need a SD Card. After that, run a Syscheck to see what you have in your Wii (important). Use SysCheck HacksDen Edition. The softmod in your wii is maybe out of date with old cIOS.

It's better to know what you have in your wii before starting anything which will lead you anywhere.

Go here for how to do it: https://gbatemp.net/threads/posting-a-system-check.300279/

After that, post your Syscheck and you will have the help.

And for the USBLoader GX, just desinstall the channel and reinstall with GX apps latest version with the forwarder Channel 5.1 not the full channel which is old.

So? what should I do?

I see that your slot 254 is Stub an you have also 11 stub, so I think it's better you resoftmod your will with Modmii to be sure to reinstall all your cIOS up to date because you have an older cIOS 249 and 250 to D2X v7 instead of v8 or v10. That's the problem I see in your Syscheck. Maybe someone have better idea than me.

And you don't have Priiloader installed so if you have problem like a banner brick, you will cry..... So install Priiloader too with Modmii.

ok, I downloaded the Modmii for windows, now I'll follow the steps!
I got an sd with 1gb formated to fat (non 32) with 32kb cluster.
I'll start right now the modmii, and see if I can get it working today :)

I will install priiloader too ! :D thx for the tip!

I'll post results! ;)
Thank you!!!

cool! :D
But i'm having some trouble starting games throught configurable usb loader, when I start the wii sports, it freezes in the start screen about safety with controller..

My setup with the external hdd is 8gb formated as fat32 for homebrews and a ntfs with 140gb.
I placed the game in the wbfs folder and renamed the iso with its own game title id, but idk what to do now.

I have to configure something to make it work?

Oh and about the stub ios, should I remove the stub ios? (there's 5 stubs)

No, don't mess with IOSes.

Configurable USB Loader? Does USB Loader GX work? Try the latest version: https://sourceforge.net/projects/usbloadergx/ . If it works through Homebrew Channel, you can install the Fowarder Channel with WAD Manager or MMM.

I think it is better to use just one FAT32 partiton, because you will also be able to install Gamecube games on that. Make sure it's the primary partition. FAT32 format limits files size to 4GB, but you can split the files with WBFS Manager: http://www.wiibackupmanager.co.uk/downloads.html . I recommend you to use this software for installing Wii games. It is a very useful tool.

No don't touch it, you are ok. If the game don't start well, try 250. And like said Corredor, try USBLoader GX to check if it's work for you. I use USBLoader since 2009 and I very like it...

I did a custom config with the configurable usb loader, I just needed to set the write in ntfs to 1, now it can download covers and work very well! :D
About wii sports, was a bad iso :P

Thank you guys!
Now it's working well!
Oh and I put the primary partition as fat 32 cluster 32k with 32gb and as primary and not logical, and the second partition with the rest as ntfs, everything works perfect now! =D

Thank you!

Wait, now i'm with a problem, the Wii Sport isn't working, I get an black screen when trying to start it...
so I read in some sites that I should install
"•IOS 236
•cIOS 249 base 56 v10 beta53-alt
•cIOS 250 base 57 v10 beta52
and a CIOS v10"

what does it mean?
I didn't find how to install these stuff, to be clear, I didn't really understood what is those IOS, they're like slots in nand?
And what is an base 57 v10?
This means I need the d2x v10 instead of the v8???

You don't need v10, v8 is fine. Can you run other games through the same loader? Which games?

Just an advice: don't do anything before you fully understand what you are doing. You can find a lot of information here and on reliable guides such as CompleteSoftMod website.
