Misc My 3DS was console banned, would transfering to it from an unbanned 3DS work?

So my 3DS got banned, my friend let me borrow his reviewer copy of SuMo early and I went online like a moron, and got error 002-0121, which is luckily just a console ban. Anyway, I heard that if you system transfer to a clean console, it'll get banned itself, so i was wondering, would transferring to my banned 3DS from an unbanned 3DS unban mine? My DS doesn't have an NNID attached to it, and no data I really care about, so I can format it and stuff. Thanks!

I don't think you can system transfer when you are banned. And if they do system transfer, i don't think it will work because the banned 3ds' ID is still the same. I might be wrong, but i think that is how it works.

Damn. Do there's no other way to totally unban a 3DS? I know about using someone else's FriendCodeSeed.bin or whatever, but I heard that comes with some restrictions.

Yeah, there is a friendcodeseed method, but it requires the 3ds to have access to nand (arm9), which needs fw 9.2 or below or a9lh. Or you could hardmod to downgrade. But otherwise, nothing.

Oh, I forgot to mention, the 3DS that was banned was A9LH and CFW installed, and I have a few friends with A9LH too.

Then the friend code method will work, but does have some limitations.

Really think it's funny that people call that an "unban" Since the console is still banned, you're just pretending to be another console. Both consoles now are appearing to be the same one, it's the same as just getting a new console, only more problematic.

the certs and fc seed etc is different on the other 3ds so transferring from a banned one by doing this will not ban the other 3ds
