I dont use arm9loaderhax though, so do i extract everything to my sd card or just 1 file ? I thought i would just replace my current Luma3DS.dat with the one out of the zip file from his github , but when i do that, Luma doesnt load
I dont know, i dont trust Luma3DS after it bricked my 2ds while loading it from menuhax.

@gjac1 Luma only loads payloads from arm9loaderhax.bin. You need to update that even without a9lh.

My sd card setup does not have a arm9loaderhax.bin file right now so my version of Luma must be quite old, again do i just extract everything from the zip file to my sd card ? Thanks

Have you ever considered just updating to A9LH instead? It's worth the little effort to having something better.

I wish i had the guts to do it :(

You have to update your luma3ds.dat and arm9loaderhax.bin.
Next update you update arm9loaderhax.bin
while loading it from menuhax.
Thats your problem. Had you loaded with a9lh you wouldn't have

I get worried every day about the littlest of stuff and I could install a9lh. Its super easy and painless. You don't need guts to do it.

It's really not hard to do and if you follow the guide, you basically have no chance of bricking. I have installed A9LH on both old3DS and new3DS and haven't failed.

Luma3ds is the safest cfw but you need a brain to use ANY cfw.
Also using menuhax is asking for a sysnand update/brick

Well, too late now, cuz my ds is already bricked.

>need a brain to use ANY cfw.

Right you are, forgot that step, ill go look up how to run luma3ds on my pro cfw psp or maybe borrow my friends Luma N3ds that i helped him set up (he got his on 9.2, mine was 10. something so i couldnt A9LH it) or maybe ill just make witty sarcastic replies on the internet some more ;)

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
