Gaming Has anyone gotten banned from playing Pokemon Moon online?

I think it does, because people on Reddit are warning others not to use it. The same for other piracy sites, yet they are still hosting version 0. If anyone dumped their own cartridge and installed it, I would like to know what version number is it showing on FBI.

I have my own cartridge, but I'm a collector, so I don't want to open it up.

It shows version 0. It's the same for all cartridges.

I think it does, because people on Reddit are warning others not to use it.

People on reddit are being paranoic. The banwaves happened because people were foolish enough to use online services in an unreleased game. Game is now released in all regions, all cart games are V0, while digital Moon is V16 and digital Sun is V32. The "leak" version was simply a cart dump like all the others that have come out post-release, so it should be just as safe. There's no need to use it if you're fearful though, use post release dumps or the freeshop version.

Anyway, if people got banned for playing after release we'd know. Nintendo doesn't cherry pick, it bans in waves, so we'd have plenty reports by now if that were the case. Stop panicking and spreading fear and false info at the same time. If you're really fearful just wait another month and then you'll be 100% sure.

Ummm I was admin on that discord long before Alucard even joined. Most bans were from other people, he didn't really do much of anything ban related at all. You have no idea what you're talking about.

The discord is where method 3 originated. There are two, Technically, And I Admin on both. But apparently, I rule with an iron fist. How and when is just as big a question. But I agree, The drama should really end. If you don't like the discord, Your call, But really, there have been tons of people getting together and just enjoying their games together there.

Yes,i have moon cartridge version and it shows vet 0,not 0.0.0 like some people say.
