Homebrew Banned on o3dsXL, downgrade n3dsXL

So I played Pokémon online before release date, and got banned on my old 3DS XL.
Today I went to the store, and bought a new 3DS XL. Now it seems the n3dsXL got stock 11.0.0-33.
I got a cartridge of CubicNinja and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, but not a NDS game.

Is there any way I can downgrade the new 3DS XL without a hardmod? I guess I'll have to buy a NDS game, but will that even work when my old 3DS XL got banned?

EDIT (STATUS UPDATE): In case anyone has the same problem, I currently got 4 things I can do:

1. Hope my friend finds back his o3DS, softmod it, use that one to softmod my n3DSXL using eShop version of Fieldrunners DSiWare & system transfer everything to my n3DSXL
   
2. Just wait and hope Slowhax will be my rescue
3. Return my n3DSXL to the store (trade in for n3DSXL with right firmware if there is one available [ You can check this by serial number, read https://www.reddit.com/r/3dshacks/c...ds_firmware_by_serial_november_2016/?sort=new for this ])
4. Do a hardmod (I'm no fan of this)

Probably Not, you need to connect to your NNID to transfer the system content.

Yeah, you can perform DSI Downgrade using another Non Banned, Softmodded 3DS.

return the new system and get the mario 3d land new 3ds bundle. you can get one on ebay for $175, assuming you have access to ebay where you live, and they come on firmware 10.7.

Is there a list, with what I should look for on the box, so I don't just trade it in for the same FW version? I remember that way it could be done in the past.

I picked up a Black New 3ds XL and it came on ver. 11.0 like yours, there's a thread on reddit with a list of product codes that're on the side of the boxes which can be used to determine (well normally) what version the console will come on. There're some 10.7 black n3dsxl's and some 11.0 luck really if you just buy without checking.
There's also slowhax that'll come out hopefully soon(ish)

If you've got an already hacked 3ds (unbanned of course) you can simply buy fieldrunners and download steel diver (install steelhax) and follow the downgrade guide (https://plailect.github.io/Guide/dsiware-downgrade) to downgrade any firmware 3ds (11.0 up to 11.2) but again, that's providing you've got an already hacked 3ds that's unbanned (need a nnid to download steel diver + do a system transfer)

If you don't have a 2nd 3ds that's hacked, I'd recommend buying fieldrunner anyways on the ds you end up buying (assuming it's 11.0, use ctr-httpwn to access eshop without updating of course) in preperation of slowhax's eventual release. (it'll use fieldrunner probably or really any of the exploitable dsi games I assume) obviously you'll need like oothax or any other method to even access httpwn though. Great! Thanks for the help and tips. I just wanted to post the same link to reddit in case anyone else wanted it.
In my case, I do have CubicNinja, so should be able to downgrade my friends o3DS IF he can find it back (He hasn't used it for a long time).
