Yup thats there. Here is a photo just so you can see what the folders are looking like and what they have.
It's strange, it should work.
Did you made the guide to install Luma on CTR-NAND or do you have to boot always with the SD in?

Maybe copy the aeskeydb.bin to the root of the SD card and try it?
Since you have everything as it should, all I can ask is, if you press SELECT while booting, does the Luma Settings open?

If I remember correctly the guide had me pull the SD out and configure the settings. I'll try copying the file to my root. And yes if I hold select on boot I do go to the Luma settings.

I don't know much about the CTR-NAND install but I do have a O3DSXL that I made that way (CTR-NAND) and I'll see if it launches payloads from SD or not.

Will post my findings later.

Just tried to boot Hourglass9 and everything is OK.
Also tried Decrypt9 and Emunand9 on boot and all OK.

Just remembered: you have a arm9loaderhax.bin on SD root, correct?

For the record, i'm on N3DS. But yes I do have that on the root. I really don't get why this wouldn't be working.

This may sound like an obvious question but, do you have menuhax+luma or a9lh+luma? Just having arm9loaderhax.bin on root doesn't tell us which one are you using.

It's better if you wait for someone to give you some other pointers because I'm out of ideas, sorry.

He already told that he did the guide a week ago, so yes, He's on A9LH+Luma.

Hey guys. Just installed Luma on my New 3DS using this guide: https://plailect.github.io/Guide/. Everything seems to work except I can't play any 3DS games. Every time I try to boot a game, it always get stuck on the Nintendo 3DS Screen. Also, I have a problem when it comes to using BootNTR. More often than not, it crashes during the svc check. Please help.

Pokemon moon regular .cia worked fine for mine, been trying to see if its possible to use NTR, people are speaking of a Luma3DS Code_Selection patch or something of that sort, I have it all downloaded and tried to use it but found out something is wrong with my Luma?
__

Gist of it, On Luma3ds 5.5, installed everything in August with A9LH, so 11.0.0-33U on Luma3ds + A9LH

I found that my Luma3ds.dat file was missing from my root I don't know why if it was accidentally removed but seems to be one of the root issues.

Lumaupdater.cfg was also missing but didn't seem to matter, have updated that to 1.42 and it will either crash from Menu launch, or hang infinitely from Homebrew launcher.

Luma3DS itself from Homebrew launcher will error out saying the Dat file is missing or rather the payload couldn't be found, when I added the original 5.5 .dat file back into root, it now hangs infinitely on black screen while accessing Luma through Homebrew, tried multiple times.

I imagine I reinstalled luma wrong, but I tried to shove all the Luma 6.6 stuff in, replacing all the old files, I can't remember if this is correct anyway made a file backup, and tried this, and then Homebrew launcher wouldn't work, it would launch but then hang blackscreen after going through the bootup.
___

Gist of it trying to get this Code_selection working and also get my Luma updated and working properly D; Anyone have any ideas? Or just go back to A9LH Guide, thing is Luma was installed so earlier in there just don't want to mess anything up.

Why are you trying to launch Luma through the Homebrew Launcher? That's not how A9LH works. You also need arm9loaderhax.bin from Luma 6.6 on the root of your SD card. Press and hold Select when booting your system, press A on the "Enable region/language emulation and external .code". This enables the code_section to work. You're going at this the completely wrong way. Also, install Luma3DS Updater as a cia on your Home Menu.

Sorry its been awhile since I've used/modded my 2DS I didn't remember exact way to do things, my Luma comes up assuming talking about the hold Select, I have Arm9loaderhax.bin, I followed the update instructions a bit more carefully I accidently added Luma3ds.dat which wasn't required? Since I am using just Hax-> Homebrew i believe, menuhax/browser hacks was used but isn't my entrance point anymore believe is the term. Typical by the book A9lH install from a like firmware 7.0.0

I have External code turned on, Lumaupdater is installed as a .cia onto my home menu. I just uninstalled previous version and reinstalled the 1.42 release. Reason I was trying to access luma that way I figured it had something to do with maybe being able to see code existing or working there wasn't much instruction on how to work with code_selection folder and see whats actually getting through to the system.

Luma updater however still crashes, luma 6.6 seems to work fine.

Edit: I read a bit more specifically what this code_selection does I'll actually go and test because I wasn't testing it, which was my fault. Then will look more into this if I indeed have kept my outlines on.

If you have A9LH, you shouldn't be using menuhax or browserhax, nor an emuNAND. If you need Homebrew access, install the Homebrew Launcher cia on your Home Menu.

Only visible issue I have right now not that its a big deal since updating luma manually doesn't seem that bad, is luma updater failing to function correctly I don't know why.

I can't tell you why it doesn't work for you because it works on my end.

First, I apologize if my question might be unrelated to Luma3DS, but I'm kinda desperate.

My camera suddenly doesn't work, when I press L+R on the home menu, the top screen only shows black screen. But strangely, the QR code function still works. I also can play Face Raiders, that AR shooter game that use the outer camera.

I tried to use QR function from Pokemon Sun this morning, the camera loaded just fine, it could scan QR code. But just now I tried it again, it doesn't work. The camera won't load.

Does anyone know what might have cause this? Is it possibly related to Luma CFW?

Thank you.
