It's an extended memory game, which means it reboots the console to start. Rebooting the console closes the homebrew menu and any homebrew programs, like save editors.Sorry? Why is that? PASLR isn't the only issue?

So when JKSM attempts to target the title directly on a 2DS / O3DS, the console reboots? It's an extended memory game, which means it reboots the console to start. Rebooting the console closes the homebrew menu and any homebrew programs, like save editors.
That's what I thought, but my copy arrived today and with 11.0 I seem to be able to dump and import saves, so I guess I've been misinformed about this.So when JKSM attempts to target the title directly on a 2DS / O3DS, the console reboots?
So this means we can edit Sun/Moon on an o3DS using homebrew if we are on 11.1 or below? Or do we still have to wait for the Pokebank update in January? That's what I thought, but my copy arrived today and with 11.0 I seem to be able to dump and import saves, so I guess I've been misinformed about this.

I read somewhere that this only worked early in the game like first island early ... not sure thoughNop, you are able to transfer data from one version to other, It's been confirmed... I just don't really know if what I did wrong was delete Moon before transfering or using an outdated software to export the data and JK's to import.
I already have 38hrs into the game with a bunch of Pokemons and 1 Shiny and I don't want to risk that...![]()

No @configchan explains all that on previous page ... ORAS was PASLR'd in 11.1 but all new titles get the treatment in 11.2 ... as the check is implemented at the system level rather than the game, if you stay on <= 11.1 no new games will be affected.Wasn't the issue with 11.1 the PASLR?

Yeah wish I'd know a week ago and I could have saved $148 AUD not buying a 10.6 2DS for CFW ... oh well have CFW and backup console nowGood to know, thanks!
Yeah sounds like it - I can't confirm myself til this afternoon but seems to be the sitch.Nice, so no need to buy a n3DS if im on 11.1 on my o3DS. So I just need to use JKSM with something like FreakyHax?
I just edited a single pokémon in the released version of PkHex, when i try to import the save using JKSV the game says the save is in another version and cant be loaded, any help?
