You can try, but if changing the console id wont help, and changing several other factors fail, i'd doubt it. If it works though good for you.
Ok, this might be too much safety, but i wanna make sure you're safe. First dump localFriendCodeSeed_B from the unbanned 3ds, and put it in the files9 folder of the banned 3ds. The, not sure if i can link it here, but find an nnidsave.bin. Theres a youtube video called how to unban 002-0102. Use the file in the descryption. Put that file in files9 on the banned 3ds as well. Last, dump the secureinfo_A from the banned 3ds, and open it in a hex editor. At the bottom of the hexes should be your console id. Change the numbers around however you want, just make sure the first 2 letters, either qw or cw, stay the same. lastly, just restore all 3 files using decrypt9.
Do you know if taking the localFriendCodeSeed_B from a 2DS would work as well? And even the console key?
people who use pokebank as it requires nnid to access. basically no importing old pokemon into sumo
those this also work? i got 2 3ds on my hands one is my n3ds console banned A9hl and one not banned 3ds XL Rxtool should i use this ?
The LocalFriendCodeSeed_B should be fine, but I'm unsure if you even can take the console key, or if that's safe.
Worst I think that can happen is you just still can't play online, as I've tried far stupider things such as a random garbage 272 byte file in place of LocalFriendCodeSeed_B and I was still able to boot fine

Hrm, for some reason I followed everything and it still won't unban me. I have a feeling it has something to do with the fact that I'm using arm9loaderhax and I had to do everything through sysnand instead of emunand.

i manage to change the Serial code of my banned console to my 2nd 3ds XL "not banned" one so i can enter to eshop and manage to update pokemon sun but when i wanted to... create an NNID that 022 code keep showing wont let me register try online still get the 002 code ...
Yeah I got the LFCS_B from GatewayFW and injected it into the CakesFW but it didn't work. Also tried injecting the sysnand's LFCS_B into the CakesFW but that didn't work either
Needs to be a clean one from another system that hasn't been banned if you mean you got it from the system that was banned

Again, nnid settings say your banned, but i just played a game of smash online with my friend, and downloaded pokemon bank from the eshop. Also make sure to do all 3 things i listed. Not aimed at any particular person, just a general warning.
