Works on my RedNAND , awesome !
Just FYI I tried for fun to change product_area from 2 (US) to 4 (EU) and it bricked my Rednand. I think it's because the US Firmware doesn't have european languages, only US (i can see US_French, US_English but not EU_French, etc)....
I take it if we want to do this for sysnand we need FIX94's fw.img first?
I MIGHT look into this at some point over the next week but I really cba to make a rednand for it. Call me lazy but meh!
JPN, KOR and TWN works for me too.strange, JPN, KOR and TWN worked on my tests. Just was not able to launch any application after setting a another game_region
To be safe, always add you game region number to the region who would test (if you want EU + US, put 6 / if you want EU + US + JAP put 7).
But you should just put 119 like in my post, and ALL will be unlocked
@Ne2buntu
I thought it would be my time to make my hands a bit durty. And fact is : Applying this patch on sysNAND works perfectely! No more redNAND required to launch foreign titles! Pfiou :3
Thanks once again for the tip, much appreciated.
Just did this on my USA console and can confirm that it's working!
Thank you for finding this out and sharing. This is awesome dude!Perfect
I THINK and I stress THINK this mod may make this accessible yes. I'm sure someone more knowledgable than me will correct me if I'm wrong but:
<5ghz_country_code type="string" length="4" access="710">EU</5ghz_country_code>
<5ghz_country_code_revision type="unsignedByte" length="1" access="710">24</5ghz_country_code_revision>
If I'm not mistaken these 2 lines are what control the communication to the gamepad. You just need to find out what the NTSC Values should be. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT try this until it has been confirmed though. I Don't want to feel responsible if you go ahead and brick. If I am wrong I will remove my comment from the thread and apologise.
Can anyone advise any further???
<5ghz_country_code type="string" length="4" access="710">Q2</5ghz_country_code>
<5ghz_country_code_revision type="unsignedByte" length="1" access="710">7</5ghz_country_code_revision>
On my NTSC WiiU they are
Code:<5ghz_country_code type="string" length="4" access="710">Q2</5ghz_country_code> <5ghz_country_code_revision type="unsignedByte" length="1" access="710">7</5ghz_country_code_revision>
I would advise doing tests on rednand to see if you can get a gamepad of a different region to work on it though.

I dont recommand to test that btw. If by mistake you change region on your gamepad, i dunno if you will be able to go back. Investigations need to be done !
