So yesterday I was opening a Tumblr post in Microsoft Edge, an when I tried to click on it, an ad window popped up. Is it actually normal? In fears of getting a virus, I made a 1-day system restore, and then ran Malware Bytes. Fortunately I got nothing, but I'll be running Avast to make sure that I haven't got anything nasty. Any ideas how this could be happening, and how to solve it?

Edit: I meant to write "Tumblr blog" in the title. Can someone change this?

Most likely normal. I don't use Tumblr but there are many sites that do this.
Also, use Chrome.

Yeah, but on a Tumblr blog? Something's fishy. But just in case, I'll be using the Tumblr app in my phone instead for these types of blogs so this doesn't happen again.

Either way, any ideas to make sure my PC didn't get infected?
