So i've had this problems since i got this TV screen
I had been wanting to use a VGA cable on the TV , but it doesn't appear
I've had tried to search for search in Google , but all im getting is help for laptops.
I have an HDMI cable (however , another person is using this HDMI cable frecuently)
Can someone please tell me which is the config. for a VGA cable (as i have been messing with configuration but i havent got anything)

Any help would be appreciated <3 Thank you

oO which kind of Television does have a VGA connection oO?
I can't remember that any of my 4 TVs in the last 20 years had a VGA connection

Are you using an Adaptor ? or do you have some Special TV ? brand would be helpfull ...

If you are using and Adaptor it could be that ... we used a few VGA to HDMI adaptor here in the Company I work and most of them were horrible like most never worked and some worked rather bad.
Those that did not have any seperate power supply were the worst.

P.S. "it does not appear" you did try to press the "source" button on your TV remote to set it to VGA right ? if you are waiting that it does chance magicaly that that might be the reason it doesn't work XD

What?
Can't you go into your TV and select the source specifically called VGA?
Perhaps the input VGA port is a dummy, a fake, perhaps it does nothing. /s

In the faraway past it was as simple as connecting the VGA cable, selecting VGA source in the TV and selecting an appropriate output mode in the computer, either Clone, Dual, or single screen ON THE TV. There is no rocket science behind this.

What part of the process fails for you?

The part where i just plug in the VGA Cable , and then get there to see in the source VGA with just a blue screen showing nothing
As i said before , i tried to do something for the PC config (detect screens , change resolutions) but nothing has really worked x_x

Try with another cable.
Check if your cable connector has a bent pin.
That sounds a lot like some Sync related pin (pin 10/13/14) is not connecting, either due to bent pin or broken cable.

sounds like one of the vga ports is dead. test both cables with a moniter that has vga or buy a hdmi cable?

I guess it could be PC VGA port may be faulty (2008 pc ftfw). I guess i should don't be lazy and buy one :y
(or as @sarkwalvein said , call some exorcist )
both are great options. or what you could also do is get a decent graphics card and use its vga or hd output for a better experience. unless your computer has one good apu and graphics chipset
