(First off, sorry if this has already been asked and answered elsewhere! I had a quick look around and couldn't find much info)

So I got up to the stage of Plailect's DSiWare Downgrade guide where you carry out the system transfer. I have already carried this out once nearly 2 weeks ago, but it did not transfer Fieldrunners over to 3DS #2.

Tried the transfer again quite a few times last night and shortly after the transfer had begun, I got error codes 014-0062 or 014-0016 on the 3DS with Arm9loaderhax installed. These occurred shortly after the transfer had begun, and other times just after confirming my NNID password.

I'm not sure if this is a problem with the 3DS or not, as I was fairly close to my router. Checked Nintendo's server status and the website said the severs were up and running with no maintenance planned.

Both consoles are currently on 11.1.0-34E. Any help would be appreciated! :)

Nope! Both are on Auto-Obtain DNS. I had Tubehax on the target 3DS quite a long time ago, but it has been formatted since.

Just keep trying, it threw errors at me plenty of times and the odd time it didn't I failed to transfer because my 1st 3ds had a 128gb sd and the 2nd 3ds had a 4gb micro sd, so it couldn't transfer the SD data, but yeah, keep trying :)

So I've tried again a fair few times over last night and this morning and still not having much luck! It seems to now fail mostly not long after the transfer has begun, rather than after confirming my NNID. At the moment I'm just going to keep on trying, but I have no idea what's causing this :/

Tried over and over again for nearly the past week and still no success, same problems over and over again :(

Formatted the A9LH 3DS, restored the NAND that I backed up before the transfer again and reassigned the NNID. I also made sure any out of region titles were deleted and that my internet connection settings were working, and it still hasn't worked...

3DS #1 with A9LH is 8GB, 3DS #2 is 4GB. I have backed up and formatted the 4GB SD card. Just tried the transfer again and at the moment it's failing with error 014-0062 before even connecting to 3DS #2

well there's your problem ya doof. You cant transfer from a larger sd card to a smaller sd card, no matter how much of both you used

EDIT: Just saw the second part, will research, but thats part of it

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

GOT IT! I think.... Apparently 014-0062 happens randomly, i'm assuming due to a bad connection. Try to brute force through the error code trying over and over. The reason why you got the second error code was because when you finally connected to the second 3ds, the sd card was to small.

Hahaha I was just about to repeat what I said in the original post :P Yeah I've already performed the transfer fine once, and that was with the same SD cards without 3DS #2's SD card being formatted. So if it was due to not enough space on the 4GB SD card, then I assume it shouldn't have worked the first time? Plus nothing new has been installed on the A9LH system since the transfer

Ah yeah I've seen that a few times when looking it up on Google over the past week! Man I've tried this about 20+ times now, my luck must be bad if it occurs randomly :')

so try with 2 8gb sd cards and just mash the button untill it works. If your internet is bad try going to a park and making a hotspot, i hear it helps.

Finally got around to getting a new SD card. Now trying to transfer from the 8GB card to a 16GB card and it's still failing immediately at the "Built-in Software" part of the transfer, which was the issue before. The error code is still 014-0016 and all it says is 'An error has occurred, please wait a moment and try again.'
