Hardware Old XL, touch screen black, but touch works

I have an old XL that is hardmodded. Everything worked fine, but when I turned it on today the bottm screen stayed dark. The touch part still works (can confirm by turning it off by pressing where the button would be).

What should I do to troubleshoot it?

"Touch part" is a thin layer over the actual screen called the Digitizer , what you need is to check the bottom screen cables or if that don't work buy a new one for like £10 approx 12$-13$

I'm sure @TariqSoftDev was refering to you buy a "new one bottom screen".
As He said, check if both ribbons are well connected but it's probably a hardware failure.

Sigh... you're one of these... He actually explained that the touch function is apart of the screen, that is a layer over the actual screen NOT that you need one.

He recommended to check all the wires are ok with your screen or buy another one, sigh...
