What Is This? its is based of @jam1garner and @soneek 's mtb tool for sm4sh.

i always thought it was slow process though to add entries or in general fix sound bank muting issues...

this fixes that! you just double click and your done...
make sure you have the mtb in the correct location in your workspace and run.
the included readme tells you how to do this...
All future versions will be under this tool.
ISSUES:
  • none!
  • you cant have a nus3bank named for c00 as the mtb file doesn't support this(this cant be fixed but a issue none the less...)
this thread is NOT for installing nus3banks, it is simply for fixing the muting issue in ditto matches.
please report any errors with the output log provided by the program...

FAQ:
  • Q: Will this allow me to have multiple sound banks for fighters like cloud or robin or fighters with male female voices?
  • A: No. this simply does what the other tool does just automatic...
  • Q: What do I do with this progam? How do i run it?
  • A: you need to have:
    • Smash Explorer 0.07.X. (anything version lower than this will not get troubleshooting help here...)
    • A dump of smash at the latest version(you wont get any help here for this)
  • Q: I'm getting all sorts of errors that i didn't have with the old manual one!!!
  • A: you should double check what your files are named as this is looking for the files the way sm4sh is...

Do I have to change the internal IDs of the nus3banks before running the Auto MTB Fixer?

EDIT: Doesn't seem like I have to. That aside, I have another question. I have the Proto Man mod for Mega Man over slots 9-16. Now they work but I noticed one bizarre quirk. The Metal Blade sound doesn't play for Proto Man's Metal Blades. Proto Man can grab Mega's Metal Blades and they will play the Metal Blade sound when thrown back. Just never for Metal Blades spawned by Proto Man. This isn't just when they're played together. If I play as Proto Man against anyone else, his Metal Blades still won't make the sound when thrown. I've used the Proto Man sound mod before this (just never played mirror matches to avoid the mute issue beforehand) and this has never happened. Don't suppose you'd know how to fix this?

If it helps, I did change the internal ID for the Proto Man sound nus3bank file myself.

this does everything including settting the internal ids for the nus3banks...
thats a odd quirk all right, although I dont know what to do about it. I'll test myself as I have that mod and see what results I get...

Rosalina toó, but i notice that in rosalina's case the type of sound bank was set to number 5 instead of 2 (2 stands for voice, 5 for nothing).
I checked zss entries (one for se and another one for voice) and all seems to be fine, can someone help me please :(

Thats odd, I dont think my script did that though(for rosalina)...
For zero suit i dont know whats happening... have you tried a fresh mtb?
are you messing with ids after the fact?

i tried this twice, putting a fresh mtb and only those characters seems to stay mute (every other character is fine)
for rosa i decided to change manually the sound type (set it to 2 instead of 5) and she seems to work just fine. but for zerosuit im not sure whats wrong

i downloaded the zerosuit voices again, and replace the ones on my smashexplorer, and run the script again, i noticed that a new rosalina file was created (since i modified the last ones) was the same as the original created with the sound type in 5, so i erased it, save the mtb, replace it in smashexplorer made my mod, and rosa can speak with her 2 voices :D with no problem

BUT Still zerosuit is muted

here is the screenshot of the zerosuit ids, maybe im not seeing something there but it looks good to me, please help :(

I think i found the issue, someone told me that the name you put as a entry must be similar to the one found on the sound nus3bank.
the script automatically named the zero suit on as Szerosuit, when the nus3bank are named SZerosuit, I also notice that doctor mario was mute too (oops).
Doc seems to have the same issue, the entry is named Mariod when using the script on a unmodified mtb, and the nus3bank names it MarioD.
as soon as my mod is done packing i´ll reporrt if it worked or not

Yep that was the issue, now is fixed and im so relief
thanks for the script, it is really handy and easy to use :)

thankfully thats a simple fix...
and actually makes a ton of sense, I'll put a update out rn

Edit: after looking at my code i squashed the Rosetta Bug aswell(it was a simple logic error)

Check your luigi´s sound files, one of them may be named wrong or one of the sound files is not properly done
i recomend first checking the names of your sound files, if they see fine then go to testing your luigi´s sound in your game, but first remove the figthermodelbanktable.mtb and your sound mods from your smash explorer and only put luigis, build the mon and check
