Hi! First at all, if you ask me why I want to do this, is for testing ping in the game servers, like Splatoon or another games.
The thing is I want to know where the Wii U connects when you start an online game, I readed that Cafiine (I don't know how) can do that work or something like that:
However, like I said, I don't know how to change that patch method, another thing I think is to use Wireshark (I didn't tried that, I will use it if Cafiine method doesn't work or that quoted message is for another thing and not to view the game servers IP.
The question is: Is there a way to know where the Wii U goes for online games?

Not that difficult, just use Cafiine's patch method to overwrite network functions to send data to a computer raw, I've been meaning to for a while but never actually got around to it
