All tutorials mention injecting the new updated FBI but no mention using tile manager. Perhaps it's out of date but I personally prefer using it over FBI as it lets me install games in bulk while my system is close. Can the new FBI do that?

But the advantages of bigbluemenu os you can install games while closing your 3ds. That way it'll save you power. There isn't really any advantages of the updated FBI other than stuff many people don't care about. People just are in it for installing games.

I've been moving away from them, i honestly just prefer the extra features fbi has, like qr code installing, and title names instead of just ids

I use fbi for the title id database. It's nice not to have to search the Internet and forums for homebrew programs.

I use freeshop to download and install games now. I know that not everything is there but it has a good selection.

For uninstalling apps and games, I go to system settings.
We need updates for bigbluemenu, so far it has been ages and we need FBI to implement the feature to install games when the system is in sleep mode.

Is that true?
Yeah, modded by BigBlueBox team if I recall correctly...

Anyways, Sleep Mode is apparently a big problem. People want it in FBI and freeShop and it is yet to be implemented there.
But FBI is just too good. It is fast, it has network installation features, QR code scanning, very convenient file browser, access to all titles, homebrew repository integration... it almost fully outclasses just everything bar this Sleep Mode thing.

You can close the lid with FBI and it installs on sleep mode, is just you can't close the 3ds when you download something because it just stops the download

Aaahh yea I see it now thanks.. Ok and last question FBI seems to reinstall CIA that is already installed on the memory card. Bigbluemenu skips currently installed CIAs. Options to skip installing CIAs that's already installed possible?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

But a nice feature FBI has is delete installed CIA
