Success. HBL works too (of course) so now I guess I can go ahead keep the update this time since I can use both HBL and NTR(Sort of) for the moment.

I'm planning to downgrade a 11.0 N3ds using dsiware method but the system is prompting me for a system update.
Can i run ctr httpwn on the 11.0 n3ds to block the system update, system transfer and run dsiware as usual?

No. They must be on the most updated firmware to do a system transfer period. I don't think that will work since entering/exiting system settings kills ctrhttpwn anyway or it might not even work to "fake the update" for the actual transfer. Try and see?

Thanks for the help guys. I was thinking about returning the Galaxy 3DS and getting the Black version because (as far as I know), the Black version comes with firmware lower than 9.6, right? So I could use other entrypoint to downgrade the unity. If I get luck I may get a unity with firmware 9.2

My wife is actually on USA for vacation (I stayed here in Brazil to study for a test) and I have two days to decide what to do. If I should return the 3DS or not.

Thanks
If you send me your Galaxy 3DS I'll send you an A9LH'd blue N3DSXL.

NTR works using the DEV version of Luma and a 11.0 Firmware.bin in the Luma file if you use @astronautlevel's boot loader which was linked a few pages back.
Found it. Guess I'll wait until things get merged to the stable branch though. I don't particularly want to mess with nightlies.

Well the creator left the project so all you're going to get are commit builds for the boot loader since NTR itself is closed source.

if updating loses NTR but allows me online and latest ( due to newer games ) then I will lose my cheats ... I only used it for Harvest moon the lost valley .. most translated games get put up on that iso site so im good without it im just happy im updated no issues

NTR Works on 11.1 EUR Consoles and N3DS USA, N3DS JPN
Homebrew Launcher also works smealum.github.io/otherapp

I meant for Luma.
Oh yeah, gotcha. Well it's only because the DEV version uses firmware files in the folder, while the stable builds no longer need them. It's the only way to load NTR until the change is implemented in the boot loader itself to not use the firm.

And are you using the DEV version of Luma with the 11.0 firmware.bin in the luma file to get NTR working? IIRC @astronautlevel said that is the ONLY way his compiled loader on the other pages works. If his actual release from 11.0 worked I don't think he would have suggested the alternative in the meantime?
Nope, normal luma here

That's odd.... That implies that NTR should have never stopped working since MOST people have been using that build. Now I'm confused since the DEV of the branch himself said it didn't work on 11.1..... It didn't work for me until I used the 11.0 firm I dumped and the DEV version of luma. Are you using an emuNAND?

Not sure if it was mentioned here (I read through 20 pages before giving up on reading them all)
But updating will fail if you have a custom home menu installed. So you will have to download a fresh copy of the home menu for 11.0 and install that before the update will successfully install.

Or just enable a normal white theme while installing

Um yes I did, the release was from Jun 1 with only 9 commits. Hence why I said the stable release version wasn't working for anyone else on here and why astronaughlevel himself compiled a new version for people to use. That's why I'm confused and also why I asked if you were using an emuNAND on a lower firmware sysNAND.
