I know, the main idea of what I wrote is that RxTools breaking will cause more harm than good.

no, I think it will cause more good in the end. rxTools is no longer updated. an update from Nintendo can kill it at any moment. this would push people off the dead custom firmware and on to more updated methods (luma? a9lh?).

It really won't. If anything, for a while GBATemp will be flooded with questions, but how is that different from the current "help pls I'm on RXTools, and something stopped working" ?

No homebrew is currently working. Everything that was "functional" before should work once entrypoints are updated for the new home menu. Menuhax and browserhax are patched though (and whatever else is listed in OP I think).

I'm just talking about the people who don't know about A9LH or Luma. Imagine they would think their 3ds broke after updating. They might update the Sysnand or something. I just wish their was a way to inform all the Rx users but that isn't possible.

hey guys, noob question, this is my first time updating my N3DS ever since I installed arm9loaderhax, do I need to take any precautions regarding luma and arm9loaderhax (such as updating them or something like that) or it is just fine to update the firmware normally? I've already made a nand backup in case of screwing up, would just like some input and some confirmation

Also, for those without CFW, will custom home menu themes be affected by this update? (i have 2 friends who just want custom themes on their 3DSes, and i heard the home menu got changed this update, so i want to know

Third, i saw people commenting about save editing: does it still work on cfw?

If you want to find out, backup your nand and test it yourself. 95% of this site has ditched rxtools, and doesn't want to touch it with a 10-foot pole. We are telling you to ditch it because it is outdated, bad, can be broken easily, doesn't even have half its features working correctly and safely, the list goes on.

Somehow on Reinand CFW 11.1 I got BootNTR 2.4 to work, shows it is 3.3 on menu but it works like how did this happen? Was not working with 3.3 but 2.4 got messed up and got 3.3 still
