Oh okay good to know. Cause now i feel dumb for paying over $50 for a Super card dstwo.
The DSTwo used to be worth it (and kind of is if you don't have you either have DS(i) or an unhacked 3DS,) because of the GBA/SNES emulation. But if your 3DS is hacked, then you can have better emulation with both using the 3DS hardware and even better SNES emulation using a new3DS.

SO what about video player or DSI support for like those DSI only games?
Buy a smartphone or PSP or anything else for portable video viewing. Playing videos on the 3DS is painful and horrible.
And the DSTwo doesn't work in DSi Mode. There was a planned feature to support DSi mode, but never made it out of the planning stages.

Don't get an R4i from r4isdhc.com (not to be confused with r4i-sdhc.com).
Though their carts work fine, they have a timebomb. Sure, that can be bypassed, but still is a shitty measure that made me lose respect for them.

And this is exactly why I don't recommend R4 - a hyphen can mean the difference between a "genuine" card (even though they're all clones, besides the original R4) and a timebomb card.

There's no real point in calling them clones though considering the original is the one that doesn't work on any recent hardware.

Let me just settle this for everyone
1: Flashcart: Suggestion R4i Gold from r4ids.cn
Official Wood R4 support. It's basically an upgraded R4.

I'm done buying DS flashcarts, they were cool to have but 2 don't work anymore. Lost one somewhere, and the last one i find is a fake. I hate it. SO much money spent on it and still not satisfied.

Sticking to my emulators. Seem to be least bit more trust than paying for broken promises.

Every kernel for every flashcart is dead. YSmenu is only getting support because it had shit support to begin with.
There's just no reason to continue updating them if there's no games to update for and all the features are already highly stable.

Is there any advantage to wood tho?

R4 Wood is basically the same as akAIO, it shares 98% of the same features and the 2% it doesn't share aren't really needed anymore. It's highly customizable and can even be used as a base to launch roms through homebrew launchers like Moonshell.
Wood R4 also has proper homebrew soft-reset, something that EOS tries to have, but is pretty poor.
Wood R4 has an internal ROM trimmer, that is also Wifi safe.
There's several other features as well.
It also helps that the R4i Gold is extremely lite on the battery life, compared to the heavy hitter that is the DSTwo.

@Crystal the Glaceon The link you posted for the flash card, it does mention cheats but doesn't mention how to search or create them with the flash cart. So i hope to find it somewhere.
R4i Gold doesn't have Free Cheat (If that's what you are referring to) it only has Action Replay cheats.

Okay, so it has something missing the DStwo does have. Either way, to be honest, i didn't say this to point out a flaw, i only said this mostly at my own disappointment for the past mistakes of wasting money on flashcarts that wasn't working or what i had hoped for until dstwo was found and i used it. I mean i guess from some others here who read my comments see me as defending something that is clearly not a top choice anymore but it was at the time and i am just making sure my money was well spent. I didn't want to buy expensive ones but after buying the cheap ones under $20, waiting for days too arrive (Cause i think they were imported) And then not being constant updated to work with new firmware or not working at all it left me very skeptacle about buying flashcarts.:glare:

Free Cheat sounds like a great feature, but it's really not as good as people think it is. At least not worth paying 30$ more than any other cart to use.

Okay i get it. Perhaps not, but i will be more cautious next time. Maybe i can find one for under $20 or just get a reliable one if possible in the future. I had hoped by this time we wouldn't need to rely on them anymore.
Is a personal fact that i prefer to have all my piracy tools have free cheat tools like action replay. But not the case.

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.

He ruined it basically. Sad cause it was a decent old bike. It would take more money to rewire the bike than it was worth tho.
