@raulpica , I've just tested the editor with 3 different savegames. No error for empty fields. Empty fields error should be triggered if , like name error says, a field is empty. Maybe Name or any other field.
You could send me the file you want to edit and I can test it by myself.
If you want to edit your savegame manually, I have added my found offsets. It's in Hexworkshop Bookmark format but should be easy to read.
Hope this helps

I'll send it over to you via PM, this is probably a bug that needs to be fixed :)

Well, after some time I guess it's time to post this SGE. Even I don't get any confirmation from my tester ;)
So I don't know if its working on US or eShop versions. Feel free to try and hate me if not working :P
I have tested this on 2 EU O3DS XL 9.9.0.26E and card version without any problem.

As always: Make a BACKUP of your save !

How to:
Dump your save with save_manager or svdt.
Patch both files you dumped.
Restore savegame
Enjoy

I noticed that MK7 sometimes changed the filename of savegame. So be sure you use the correct filename.
No matter what file you are patched, you can copy this file to every filename like systemX (X=0-9)
Both files are pretty much same. One is for "got new stuff" one is for "have new stuff".
I guess my english is too broken to explain it in a good way :D

need some help here...
I used the editor, and changed my name on it. Did the same for my friend and change his name for him too.
Now when we go into the game, our name is "Player"
and we cannot get into local play. After i created the room, and my friend joined (both names are "Player") the next screen just keep loading and we can never start a game.

Any help?

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
