Hey I downloaded the new Freeshop, downloaded a Picross game with it, qued another game, went to the home menu and back, moved a game up and then immediately pressed the bag icon, it then froze. :(

Still nice app though.

Am I the only one who gets "Failed to finilize Content install: 0xD8E0806A", I've gotten this on everything I've tried to install since the 2.0 update (and it continues on 2.0.2). N3DS, 2GB left on my SD, it happens with every game I've tried (3D Outrun, Punch Out!!, Petite Computer and downloading the DLC for New Super Mario 2).

I just got "Failed to install Content: 0xD8E08066" when trying to download "Yu-Gi-Oh!" (japanese free2play game). The download was at 99%.

Got the same error when downloading Kirby Robobot. What's going on?
Edit: Tried it again and got the same error. This seems to be a common issue now.

Since people seem to really want it, I created a proper loop of the Wii Shop Channel music for freeshop. (correctly split at the right samples and everything)
To those with legal concerns, I asked a particular moderator about whether or not it could be posted, and they said it should be fine, they also said to put that any mod concerned with it should pm me for details.

Anyhow, These ogg files go in sdmc:/3ds/data/freeShop/ and you also need to have the DSP dumped in sdmc:/3ds/. You can use Cruel's DSP Dump tool to accomplish this.

Download! (mirror)

Okay, first of all, I have a bug to report in freeShop version 2.0.2. The 3DS System Memory overloaded/froze when I tried to delete a downloaded title.

Next, I have a suggestion. It would be nice if there was some 3D implemented in freeShop, just as there is in the Nintendo eShop. But the most top priority feature would have to be the ability to see in-game screenshots in 3D. And also, I've noticed the description of titles that are too long are cut off, so maybe the bottom screen could be mostly used for screenshots and title descriptions? It's just a suggestion. ^^

I had no problem with this new version. It's working perfectly already downloaded all Pokémon games.

@TheCruel The freeShop still gives me this error, "Failed to finalize content install: 0xD8E0806A" when downloading when I used an older version of freeShop before the 2.0.0 and above updates the error doesn't occur and downloads perfectly. Updated freeShop I can't finish download anything at all, it does download and it gives me an error "Failed to finalize content install: 0xD8E0806A" When you get a chance can you fix this issue?

It would be a good idea to mention what game it is and what region.

Any game in general whether it's a Virtual Console game, 3DS eShop Games, DSiware Games, etc. it won't let me finish the download and it still gives me this error, "Failed to finalize content install: 0xD8E0806A" so basically I can't download anything off of freeShop. Older versions before 2.0.0 and above I can download anything, now I can't @TheCruel I hope you can please help with this issue I'm willing to help out so I can download without any issues on future versions of freeShop.

I beg to differ I keep getting this, "Failed to finalize content install: 0xD8E0806A" older versions worked fine until 2.0.0 I hope this issue gets fixed.

Delete 3ds/data/freeshop
and then boot Freeshop click the Cog icon and click Delete Cache - Give that a try

@TheCruel FreeShop no longer crashes after installing DLC or an update. However, if I click the new bag icon after it downloads, freeShop crashes. I have a very large number of games installed if that matters at all. Everything else post installation (like browsing games or changing settings) works fine from what I can tell.

Yeah, thanks. I found that problem I think, so should be fixed in update later today. And I'll also be adding a confirmation screen when deleting things.

I've tried several downloads, yet they either give a "Failed to install content", "Internet Problem?" or another failed error. Any common reason for it happening? I've tried deleting 3ds\data\freeshop and then re-booting and refreshing the cache. Could it be because I have the old directory at \freeshop\ while the newer version uses \3ds\data\freeshop\ ?
