I hope this is okay to post here. It's a remix, so I don't think it exactly violates anything? I'll remove it if I need to.

The song is the Wii Shop Channel remix that is pretty popular. Here's a link to the soundcloud and the artist who made it, and here is it as the "shop-loop.ogg" file that works with 2.0. It sounds a little scratchy on my 3DS, but you're mileage may vary. Others can feel free to take a shot at converting it. I used audacity so yeah.

Just drop it in the "3ds/data/freeshop/" folder and jam out!

I reconverted that remix with a few enhancements:

-First, i created a proper intro and loop file so the music starts and loops the way it should

-Second, i normalized the music so it no longer sounds scratchy

@TheCruel you should consider to add this theme as the default one as it really fits with freeshop in my opinion.

@TheCruel you should consider to add this theme as the default one as it really fits with freeshop in my opinion.

Oh, that is actually super good sounding! Also loops really well! Thanks for doing this, the one I whipped up was really quick and sloppy. We'll see if @TheCruel is going to add it as the default song though, since he's said he didn't quite like it before, but it is pretty damned catchy so who knows.

I updated this morning and updated my keys of course. Then from there I installed all the updates and DLC for all of my games without hassle.
Solid update for me, no bugs to report.

Enctitlekeys.bin is a file contaning all the shared eshop purchases used for encrypting with freeshop. It allows anyone to download specific games, or dlc for free without purchasing.

i dont think this is going to be useful for me if i gotta have a key to game that ive never had cash for to start with. lol. ty sonic angel for the answer. all this stuff confusing

If you have an issue or a bug with the app, give details about what you did and how it happened so that @TheCruel can reproduce it on his end and hopefully fix it.

Delete 3ds/data/freeshop
and then boot Freeshop click the Cog icon and click Delete Cache - Give that a try

That didn't change anything unfortunately. Hope someone comes up with a solution for this error.

Had the same issue. Fix: Go to settings on FreeShop, then Update, then tap on the little QR code icon and finally scan the encTitleKeys.bin QR code on the 3ds title keys website.

Yes, along with support for reading cart (to install DLC/Updates for retail games). Themes are just home menu DLC.

How silly would this sound if you buy a game at a store, and insert it into the system and you can detect if is on eshop to download? I know that decrypt 9 already supports 3DS game cart to cia convertion, buy why not direct install? So you don't need to have the extra X2 space on the SD card to be able to install the game with that method, you can just install directly from gamecart.

Is it possible to create a direct install method from cart to App with out needing to first make cia to install with save and data included?

The bag icon lists installed titles. You can install updates/DLC there.

If the game is not yet installed, when you queue it, it will automatically add updates/DLC.

I've never seen anyone have those problems except for crash when deleting game.

So any new ticket install fails? Only works with previously installed tickets?

It crashes when you *start* DLC/Update installs?

And at what point during boot does it crash? While loading game list? And was there any saved downloads in queue when it crashed?

People seem to be getting this inconsistently (when they retry it, it sometimes works). Does you install speed ever go slow or has it ever paused momentarily with some other message like "Suspended"?

Item shop of the kingdom doesn't install as it freezes the app and causes the system to restart.
