Hacking how to use NDS flashcard on "Gateway Emunand"

So i have a old nds flashcard (acekard 2i), i was wondering if it's possible to launch it on "gateway" emunand

I don't think it works on GW emunand, the team hasn't included that feature yet.
Use Luma instead.

i sometimes use the gateway cheat engine, if i were to use luna will i lose the ability to use it?

Nope. You have to run it either using sysnand or luma3ds cfw. You didn't say what sysnand firmware you are on though.

If you don't want to do any extra work you will have to play the nds flashcart on sysnand and reinstall the gateway 3ds mset exploit once you are done playing. I am assuming you use the gateway 3ds mset to load up the gateway 3ds software.

you mean through system settings? then yes.
and i don't want to go through the whole process of reinstalling (it's annoying)

It may be annoying for you, but it is the main option you have unless you want to go through the process of updating sysnand firmware to 9.2, installing menuhax/lesshax, ctrbootmanager, homebrew launcher and luma3ds or setting up a9lh to play that ds flashcart, than reinstalling mset sounds less annoying. Basicly once you are done playing go in the main menu of the ds flashcart and just click the gateway software on it to reinstall it.

gateway released a bin file that gives a9lh support, will this help me load the nds cards?
i'm not sure how to even use it.

You can update your blue gateway card to use its complete new kernel menu where you can play ds games on 4.x firmware and just click the gateway button when you want to revert back to playing 3ds games on emunand. Easy to use if you don't want to go through a lot of process.


But I would really suggest updatijg your exploit to a9lh. A lot would be easier.
