Hacking Game freezes

Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure keeps freezing on the R4i Dual Core flash cart. Is there a fix?

are you using the latest firmware? are you using good roms?

Old, but normally works. Back up your entire SD card, then reformat with this program using these settings
FORMAT TYPE : FULL (OverWrite). FORMAT SIZE ADJUSTMENT : ON
I also suggest checking out Retro's files if you aren't already using them

it's reported as a virus and won't download

Are you using YSMenu or the original kernel? YSMenu is good but it may be better as a secondary kernel for these cards.

Get the R4i-SDHC folder from Retrogamefan's multi-cart update. Extract the contents to your SD. It includes the ysmenu.nds file, press it to launch.

It's good, but if you are having game problems then it's better to have both kernels on the card so you can switch.

Btw on r4 dual-core Mario Kart Zero freezes at a white screen when i try to start it.

I posted this in another thread but you can set ysmenu.nds to run from the main menu by editing multimedia_path.ini in the R4iMenu folder, this way when you select the middle icon it will be YSMenu that runs instead of Moonshell. Good way to boot YSMenu quickly when you need it.

Just put everything that is in the ysmenu folder in .7z file on your sd card.
