Hacking Is it possible to transfer PoR save from Dolphin to Wii U?

I played and finished Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance sometime last year via Dolphin Emulator and know that this particular game allows its save to be transferred to its sequel, Radiant Dawn. However, I only know that this is true if you have the rom for Radiant Dawn on your computer as well, but I'd like to play it on my Wii U since I already own the game.

My Wii U is already setup for Homebrew, and I was wondering if transferring save files from Dolphin to Wii U is possible?

I'm not very familiar with FE, but google says that POR is for GC, and RD is for Wii... I'm guessing you'd need an actual Wii (RVL 001, GC compatible) for RD to read the save. You could certainly get the save from Dolphin transferred to Wii U for use in Nintendon't, but I think you'd need it on an actual physical card for a Wii game to know where to find the save.

I'd guess that would be your best bet, unless you do have an actual Wii.

couldn't you just load a backup of radiant dawn in dolphin, since you said you own it, and then let it create a save file that carries over the first game save. then all you need to do is have dolphin save to an sd card and load it in the Wii menu inside of vwii

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is a GC Game, right? You need to have Memory Card Slots so the Wii game can read your previous Save Data if you want to do it on a Wii Console, if you want to do it on a Wii U you just can't for the same reason you can't use a GC Controller on a Wii game like Brawl, Mario Kart Wii or Sonic Colors, because vWii is not compatible with GC Controllers and Memory Cards and the Wii U itself doesn't even have slots for them.

You can copy the Save to an SD and Transfer it to a GC Memory Card on a Wii, I did that with some games already on GCMM, and then you load the Wii game and it will see your savedata on the Memory Card.

Maybe you can use a cheat to unlock the things that you have on your Path of Radiance savedata or something.

You have two possible paths (that I know of)
* You can dump the save data for Path of Radiance from Dolphin, install it on your vWii, and then launch Radiant Dawn and import your save data.
* You can launch Radiant Dawn inside Dolphin and import your save data, then dump your newly created Radiant Dawn save data to your console.

Dolphin can export save data, and there should be several tools online that allow you to compile Dolphin's dumps into a format that can be loaded onto your console using its built-in Data Management.

I didn't thought on the second option, that is actually a great idea, I would do this:
You can't put GC Saves on a vWii, but you can open Radiant Dawn on Dolphin and read the savedata from the previous game there and then extract the Radiant Dawn save with the things from the previous title unlocked and install it with SaveGame Manager GX on your Wii U, and you play the rest of the game on the console.

yep is possible i had to do it , the onli think that you have to do is create new game in radiant daw and select the save of fire emblem path radiance ( in dophin ) , after that you have tto export the save of radiant dawn to wii with save manager , ther are one option in dolphin to export it . ( both games have to be of the same region )
