There is zero emulation regarding NDS roms with all DS flashcards, all DS flashcards run games natively.

If you want my opinion, super card DStwo is top tier, but with a price of over $40, worth it since is supported with updates for new firmwares on offical 3ds

It also has great useful features and such as well so is up to you.

A r4i sdhc 2016 is cheap and probably gets the job done as well.

I would not suggest the Supercard DSTwo+ because it hardly gets any support and it's just a DSTwo with a lazy (now out of date) Gateway 3DS feature slapped onto it.
If you can get a DSTwo non+, I suggest going with that.

is it true that Gateway bricks users of the DSTWO Gateway Plugin?
(this wont effect the fact i want one of these)

The DSTWO is only about 5 cents cheaper than the DSTwo+, so unless you're a phenomenal penny-pincher, go for the DSTwo+.

Only if the firmware of the Launcher.dat is >= 3.5. 3.4.1 won't brick, but doesn't support the latest emunand.

It'll work on 11.0 as a NDS flashcart, and if you don't use the internal CPU, battery life will be better. Once I get my 3DS, I plan to reverse engineer gateway and release a version w/o malicious code.

Says nothing about 11.0.0-33 or "Latest firmware"

Of course is only offical firmware, im sure there mods for it on cfw stuff.

It uses a sightly modified version of GW Ultra 3.4.1. and it's still restricted to all the limitations of the older Gateway. Including only being able to launch from 9.0/9.2 and no A9LH support, not MenuHAX support, so sysNAND launch only.

But even official gateway won't work on 11.0, only Sky3DS+ and DS mode flashcarts will. DSTwo is the best DS mode flashcart.

You will brick if you attempt to use GW mode on a DSTwo+

The only known workaround to this is only usable on Old3DS.
