Hey, I have a hacked Wii, and apparently Nintendo had identified my Wii as a hacked one in the Wii Shop Channel. So whenever I go ahead, and try using the Wii Shop Channel I get a message saying "You must agree with the user agreement to use this application."

I read some of it, basically the jest of it has to do with the Wii Shop Channel having issues with RiiConnect24, or Wiimmfii

I read through some of it, and I am still a little lost with the agreement. Is it even safe to agree with the user agreement? I use RiiConnect so I am just making sure.

I mean you could if you want. I'm pretty sure it would cause no harm but if you are still unsure, you could always just install a wad version of it.

Do you have Priiloader? I believe there is a setting in there where you can pretty much get rid of it then

EDIT: In the end, agreeing with it won't ruin anything.

What setting is it in Priiloader? I have Disc Updates, and Online Updates off. I don't see anything about the Wii Shop Channel.

Oh, sorry about that. I read it as "updates" I was going to tell you to turn on the block disc and online updates because Wii Shop Channel uses it, but I don't know if it will help solve the problem.

It's one of those agreements where you are required to accept a EULA to use that type of software. It doesn't ask for a Wii Sys Update just that you comply to the agreement

I will show a picture, and the EULA later. I think there is a site for it.

Alright.
So I read a little more, and looked all over the Internet.

The update it's self is dangerous, and can really harm your Wii if you have something like Homebrew on there. It is theortically possible to still use the Wii Shop Channel with a hacked Wii. But doing so is extremely dangerous, and you run the risk of bricking your Wii by downloading content on there, or using it.

I would highly advise any Wii Modder to use emulators, and buy a physical copy of the game instead of buying it from the Wii Shop Channel. There is still a way to get Channel's from the Wii Shop Channel. However you will need to install it manually on the Wii (Which is not to hard.) You can check out how to do it in a YouTube Tutorial. I would highly advise using Multi Mod Manager for installing WAD's. I also made a list of where you can get them in a tutorial here:

https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...st-channel-completely-on-the-wii-menu.430748/

Look below until you see a post on WAD Providers.

Notice: Installing WAD's that use Wii Shop Points onto your Wii is considered piracy. An example of ones that do not is the Save Data Update Channel, News, Mii, etc... Anything that has a price on it currently TODAY that is in the Wii Shop will be considered piracy.

You are able to install channels you no longer own as well. As long as it's free in the store currently.

Do not install games on your Wii that use Wii Shop Points.

I don't know what you are talking about. It is safe to use the Wii Shop Channel. If your Wii Shop Channel is old and outdated you would have to update it. But do not update it through Nintendo. There are guides on how to update the Wii Shop Channel. The user agreement is just the agreement you have to accept in order to use the store. It says stuff in it like you will not use unauthorized stuff on your Wii blah blah blah. Just hit I Agree and all should be good.

As for using the Wii Shop Channel to buy games on a hacked Wii, there is nothing wrong with it. I still buy my games through the Wii Shop Channel on my hacked Wii. I think you are being overly cautious and worried about nothing. But don't just take my word on it. The last thing I want to see happen is you brick your Wii. So if you want to do more asking and get answers from others that's fine.

I apparently figured out after reading it 6, or so times it said "THIS IS AN AGREEMENT! This agreement is for useage of Wiimmfi, the custom Wiiconnect24 service, and all other online services not provided by Nintendo in general."

I can tell I am being a little overboard here. But if my Wii bricks I am going to be screwed since my younger siblings play on it to. The update is safe, and it will not harm the Wii,

Ah, so it was the agreement for RiiConnect24. Lol. Do you have PriiLoader and BootMii installed and a backup of your nand. Because those are the best brick prevention you could have.
