What do you mean by "lock" ? If this video is yours, your PC is not even able to reach 60 fps
Not in this game. But in other games sometimes the framerate goes way too fast. So i mean is the anyway to lock it so it never goes above 60FPS.

Depends on your GPU, if its NVidia you can just change the config on the NVidia Control Panel (you can config just for the emulator .exe, so you don't have to change your default configs)

AMD has the same option for locking the framrate but it doesnt seem to work with Citra. Thats why i hoped someone else might of known of another piece of software that could do the trick.

@lbzlxx you are from china right?Do you know the Pokemon ORAS 721 game?i saw baidu they claimed it is playable although the chinese build is not yet stable (lot of random freeze or unstable FPS,etc....) ,and you guys from china can get the hack rom from baidu site right if you had register an account ? Did you tested the game personally? It work well in which chinese build?any suggestion?
1.people play the 721just because it is a cracked rom.yeah, because of laziness.the same bugs exist.
2.get the rom is not difficult.but i think sharing is illegal on this forum.
3.just use the lastest one.sse or avx?test it youself.people get different results.

Hey everyone

I've been following Citra for quite some time now, yet I've never actually tried the emulator. But now that Citra have come so far that it even has sound, I figured I'd like to at least test it out. I've tried out Pokémon X and Omega Ruby (bet you didn't see that coming...) and having tested the games across 3 different builds, I keep running into the same problem.

There is little to no output on the screens. The intro doesn't work for either games (and I've seen these working), the lower screen doesn't show anything for either game, and for the most part I have nothing on the upper screen either. I realize that at this point the games are working far from perfect, but from what I have seen off of videos, they work better than what I am getting. I remember that at some point, we needed a save file in order to cross an early point in Omega Ruby, is this still necessary?

I am happy to provide more details on this and I don't expect to have a perfectly playable game at all, but I just want to be able to actually test the games.

My specs:

Intel Core I5 3570K @3.8ghz
AMD Radeon 5770 1gb
8GB DDR3 RAM

My most recently used build is some chinese avx build from the 13th of June. Not that I think it matters much, this doesn't seem to be a build related problem.

The chinese build from 13/06 should work, I've used it in this video . And yes, it's still crashing when you try to go out of the Petalburg Woods.

Dont want to be a douche but either wait for future build or just buy a real 3DS if you really wanna play pokemon 3DS. Devs said many times Pokemon games are not supported (yet) so please just stop asking.

Actually chinese build can run game without freezes if you use special version of rom.

That's what he said, the emulator don't run Pokémon, the public build don't even boot the game without some files. If you need a modified ROM that no one have to "skip" some crashes, the answer is no.
