This patch is almost definitely not going to be released in the next month. There is still quite a bit left to do, especially in the editing/revising/localizing areas. Dialogue spoken by characters during the board game sections is mostly untranslated, and I need another translator to help translate this. I have a complete dump of the text, and all text can be inserted with relative ease. If anyone can help out, please let me know. This patch is coming along nicely, but these sections need to be finished before I release it.

Keep it up then xDDDD
p.s: May I ask you something about hex editing on private?!

How big is that text file? Or better, how many lines approximately? I'm not entirely sure if I can help granted my "free time' is cut short ever even since the new semester has started.

Well, line count is a bit misleading. There are nine separate files, one for each character. Each file follows a very strict pattern; characters have reactions to various events that occur throughout a match, and their lines are arranged in the same order in each file. These lines of dialogue range from a single word to no more two brief sentences. A lot of the dialogue is the same stuff said slightly differently based on each character's personality.

I've attached Shouko Kirishima's script for you or anyone else who wants to take a look. Each "Page" is a box of dialogue, and the line directly beneath it is which character is speaking. In this example, each mini conversation starts with a line from Shouko, followed by a line from whomever she is speaking to. If I remember correctly, no conversation is more than two boxes long.

Alright. Will have some fun with it. Thanks.

Erm. Is there a site/document that you guys refer to for the character's name? If not, I'm just gonna use the wiki.

Edit: Ignore my latter phrases. The speaker's name is inserted in the text. Thanks.

Thanks to AdanK85, all the scripts are finally translated. Now, all that's left to do is localize/edit/revise the scripts, finish editing a few graphics, and perhaps a few other minor changes.
Up to this point, I've been revising all the scripts myself, but it is a very cumbersome task doing it alone. If anyone has a strong background in English, is a good at writing, and is familiar with the series, I'd welcome your assistance in finishing this task. If you're not familiar with the series, but are good at writing humor, we'd still love to have you on board, since the game is pretty funny, and that's something that should be retained in translation. PM me if you're interested.

I'd love to help out. I'm a pretty big fan of Baka and Test and been looking forward to this release for a long time. I'm a native English speaker and writer, and as a fan of the series I believe I could help out.

Thanks to Zander1995, we're currently about 38% done with the scripts' first revision! Progress has been a bit slow for the past few months, but thanks to Zander's help, I've things have picked up recently. We plan to do two script revisions: the first one to essentially rewrite the literal translations into something that flows well in English, and the second to add back a bit of the humor lost in translation and fix any mistranslations or lingering mistakes. We're doing everything we can to get you guys a high-quality, professional-looking translation. Thanks for all of your patience!

Well, i believe there's quite a lot of people here who's good in english. Unfortunately, the one that was most needed in a translation project is the one who's good in both japanese and english, and only a few of them here who's actually do.

I present a brand-new, never-before-seen video preview of the patch! Zander and I spent a lot of time going through and touching things up on the prologue, so I could get this out to you guys. Think of it as my way of making it up to you all for going so long without any picture updates. Anyway, here it is:

Let me know what you think!

Man, it's so weird actually seeing it get into the game. It looks great though!

Things have been rather slow lately, unfortunately. The project isn't done, but it's not dead either. I wrote a basic script viewer to help with the script revision process. It takes an input file and displays it in a textbox similar to how it would appear in-game, without any characters or animation.

I'll probably update first post of the thread with more detailed measures of progress. In the meantime, here's a screenshot of my script viewer in action:
