Now, today. We have things we never thought would be possible 20 years ago, maybe just 10 years.
We can look inside a cardboard box, and watch a movie, or drag your finger across across a slab of aluminum and glass to check today's weather.
Most of you remember how things were before this. When kids weren't glued to screens. Some of you probably has grandparents/parents who still is not educated on what you can do with the electronics today.
I would like you to watch this video, and think of this. You will see the contrasts of a frequent user and a non user of "today's electronics/technology"

Granted that was early 2000s, so 2016 might be pushing the 20 years ago thing.

Now, today. We have things we never thought would be possible 20 years ago, maybe just 10 years.
i grew up with all these technology appearing...
when i was a kid i had a sega.. 2D graphics, play on tv, it was pretty cool..
when 3d graphics started to appear, it was really cool i could see the improvements... then the HD appeared
and now we got the 3d..
the internet had lots of potential, and it grew up...

but around 2010 either i get older, or technology doesn't impress me anymore...
touchscreen devices and micro sd cards of 256GB were the last inventions that did impress me, (and maybe google cardboard)
we are in "upgrading\improvement" era...
when tablets started to appear, i didn't understand how people found them amazing.. or a new invention i mean.. we got big ass flat tvs, we got really small phones with touchscreens.. so.. what is the real invention in there? it's just an improvement or joining inventions..
drones? i had toy rc helicopters as a kid.. you just modified the wings, putted a camera and wifi on it.. yeah i know, there are lots of technical stuff like controlling the motors, gyroscopes, etc.. but in the outside is almost the same thing..
remember about segways? i thought that thing would somehow get energy from when the person would tilt up.. it's just a battery with giroscopes thing...

It seems like we're going backwards in some aspects - people are too hooked onto their phones to properly interact with each other in real life, websites are getting slower despite our internet speeds have improved over the years, this one is really worth reading:http://idlewords.com/talks/website_obesity.htm

I'm not against technology improvements, but I think we're sacrificing too much for its advancement.

Yes technology has evolved and you would have to be an idiot to say it's bad.
