Hacking Updating Gateway Firmware Question (been out of the scene for a while)

Hi I've been away from the 3DS scene for some time and I'll like some help if possible.

Right now I got an O3DS on firmware 4.3 meaning I can boot into Gateway without using the internet proxy option.

My Gateway is on firmware 2.7 and now a new firmware was release a couple days ago 4.0b and I was wondering if there was a guide for me follow to update my Gateway.

Should I update to 3.7.1 or to 4.0b cause I think 4.0b requires me to downgrade I THINK. Some insight into this will be great thank you

Just upgrade to 3.7.1, the newest betas have features that are mostly for Hardmod users to test, and there hasn't really been anything significant added to it besides the Time Machine and such tools.

How to update: grab the Launcher.dat and place it on your SD card.

So it is just a case of replacing my current launcher.dat file with the 3.7.1 one and then I'm done or do I need to do something else?

Also can I update my emunand to the latest version via wireless connection (11.0.0-33E)

Yes, it's just the launcher.dat that needs replacing.

You can update emunand normally through system settings, 11.0 is supported.
