Hi, is there any homebrew programs out there that cant tint the color of my 3DS red like f.lux for computer and twilight for android that will help with playing at nighttime??

NTRCFW (3.4 preview) Can lower the brightness below what you can do normally, but its only for n3ds atm, and has issues of its own. If you only plan on playing like one game before turning it off, and are on an n3ds, that is your best bet.

While it's not strictly speaking exactly like f.lux where it tints the screen color, the N3DS is capable of adjusting the brightness according to how much light the camera/sensor (Not quite sure which but I believe it's the latter) can detect.

Would it be a theoretical simple matter of taking that approach and tying it to the clock/a clock to adjust depending on the time? (I'll likely just be told I know nothing about how hard the coding of that would be and to be fair, that wouldn't be a wrong statement.) Edit: It seems that the main problem is actually trying to access that in the NTR according to the other thread.

I'm pretty sure the only thing that is N3DS-exclusive is the video streaming.

Well, again, like any other idea that affects the entire hbl and apps, it would require a modified payload, because typically, the payload is reloaded after closing an app.
