Could someone with a really good router film a NTR video with this?
Also, it would be awesome if this could be launched via A9LH! That would COMPLETELY replace the homemenu! I think The guy working on BootCtr9 is working towards being able to boot .3dsx files from Arm9LoaderHax so you possibly won't even have to do this

And smealum is supposedly working on a hb launcher or loader that boots only a9lh home brew.

So I have most of the basic menu stuff working now and I also came up with a new idea of controlling this. I was thinking of using the analog stick to navigate the cursor, and the touch screen to use the navigation bar and another stuff. Like opening apps using the touch screen. I know it already does this in the previous Alpha build, but what I meant is that you can navigate using the cursor and tap anywhere on the touch screen as long as it is above the nav bar to open up that menu/app.

I think it would good to hav a .bin version of this custom home menu. I say that because if we were to have a .bin version than we could use ctrbootmanager9 to cold boot directly to the custom home menu.

It's not that easy. He would need to remake the code so it will be able to be launched on arm9. Plus, we are still not able to get sound working on arm9. It would useless
I heard that the creator of BootCtr9 is researching on getting .3dsx support for A9LH

So I kinda got back to properly working on this. Also @Wolfvak has been helping me around with bits and pieces, so if everything goes well, I may be able to release an alpha build sometime next week. Don't get your hopes up though, as it is still just an alpha build.
I want to at least get the file manager partially working before I make the release. You can keep up to date with my progress on github: https://github.com/joel16/Cyanogen3DS

Alright so I finally decided to do a video. I haven't been able to make much progress lately, but I guess some progress is better than none. So far there hasn't been any important features apart from basic menu navigation and aesthetics. If you had a look at the video you'd notice there's still a lot left to do. The file manager, quick settings and the 24 hour time toggle are all faulty, and need to be fixed. I'll try to at least fix the quick settings and the toggle before I release the first alpha build.
Also for the those that don't know, I have changed up the controls. You have to use the d-pad/analog stick/c-stick to control the cursor. The touch screen is only used for the navigation bar at the moment. I did try to release a build last week but that didn't go so well.

So finally the working list:
- Basic menu-to-menu navigation
- Power menu
- Navigation bar
- Lockscreen (without password/pin lock - I need to get the OSK done for these)
- Dark theme toggle under developer options.
- Digital time and battery status bar
- About section which displays Cyanogen3DS version, model and region.
- Some Android-y animations haha

What's almost/partially working:
- Quick settings
- 24 hour toggle
- Experimental features toggle
- File manager (25/100 % done - note this is an estimate :P)

What's not working:
Everything else!

So I guess I won't be giving any ETA's for now. I feel like if I do release an alpha build everyone would complain about it being feature-less and not being able to do much or something. These things take time, and being a college student isn't helping it any further. The PSP version took over a year for me to get it to it's current stage, so I wouldn't expect any less from this either. If I do release an alpha build in the near future, please do take into mind it's an "ALPHA BUILD" don't expect it to be anything close to the PSP version.

So, you think you'll be able to add more stuff like the music player or change some settings like the wifi? That's really interesting. Also would be if it could lunch some games (installed or the cartridge), but maybe it's just too much.

I know this has been asked multiple times before, but have you had any more thoughts for moving menu elements to the touchscreen? It seems counter-intuitive (even awkward) to use the touchscreen like a basic drawing tablet, especially when you're trying to emulate the feel of an Android mobile OS.
