Is cemu always going to be closed source?

At this rate even cemu 3.0 won't make xenoblade x, Bayonetta 2 playable?

Uhm, I'm not a big fan of closed source either, but you can absolutely not say that Cemu's development was slow. You don't seem to have a lot of experience with emulators.

Getting only 20FPS in Mario Kart 8 with 1.5.0, how much do you think should I get in 1.5.1?
I was getting 8 FPS on 1.5.0 but now I'm getting 15-20 in game and 50 in menus on 1.5.1, obviously this mushy not be the same as you get but it will most likely be an improvement in frame rate

I have around 35fps in mario kart 8 courses, 60fps in the menu, much faster compared to 1.4.2! :D but I'm also having much slower loading times. :(

EDGE is almost playable, it goes in game but you can't see the player or the actual level, only the minimal and the background. Also once again no sound .

You serious? Bayo2 was already 40-60fps in cutscenes and 10-15fps in game and only doesn't boot after 1.5.0, Xenoblade has been 25-30fps in cutscenes and 15-20 fps in-game for ages. Meanwhile theres a handful of Mario titles that run nearly perfectly, multiplayer in several titles is now practical, and other titles such as Bayo1/DKC:TF/TPHD have been getting much better.

Or they have 1000+$/€ for their computer instead of buying a WiiU for like 200?

I don't exactly have the best rig in the world, an i5 4670k @3.4ghz, AMD R9 280X GPU & 16gb RAM, but average between 47-60 fps in MK8 (speeds up as it caches), and 30 fps in Twilight Princess with sound.
