Family Tennis SP is running AMAZING well, at 60 FPS even with Intel GPU
Maybe I can upload a video later but before I'll have to ask...
What do you guys are using to capture the videos?
I tried FRAPS but it takes a lot of resources from the computer, unfortunately dropping some performance from the video

Odd, you can't pick up coins on Nvidia? Is this only on specific courses where coins are generated/non-stationary?
At any rate I suppose it's time for my official 1.4.2b "AMD Edition" video-

The whole stretched textures on -very specific- objects/characters thats been happening on AMD since 1.4.1(/vertex cache I guess?) is pretty darn obvious here with the train and as before the game takes a noticeable performance hit/ stutters when it happens. So now thats the spectator Hammer bros. in Bowser's Castle, certain toadstools in Mario Kart Stadium & Moo Moo Meadows, Tiki's in DK Jungle, the ship in Bone-Dry Dunes, and the train in N64 Rainbow Road that are effected by this.
What sets the train apart from the others here though is that it's the only one where the "stretched" textures appears black across the course rather than transparent and stands out even more by comparison. (any official words on a fix for this btw?)

P.S.- I had actually forgotten I had changed that courses' music back in 1.4.0c and haven't played it since up till now, lol.

I don't know if the coin problem is present on other tracks, although they are not stationary as they are dropped by the floating train. I also want to point out that I don't get the boost from he floating star-circle thing, not sure why this happens but it looks like its an Nvidia issue (what isn't lol). The only things that I have heard about AMD in the Cemu scene is that their cards come along with their own glitches aside form the non acid sky.

Personally I use/favor OBS Studio and simply have FRAPS running in the background when recording. I don't actually use FRAPS itself for recording since-

a) It's only 30 seconds for free users
b)File sizes are ridiculously huge and take forever for me to upload (compared to indistinguishable quality in OBS Studio)
c) Fraps' fps counter isn't even recorded when making a video with Fraps itself for some reason.

I'd also advise against OBS classic as the quality seems to be rather poor compared to when I started to use OBS Studio + Fraps, I also tried using Bandicam before using said combination but bandicam seems to be the have the biggest fps hit out of the bunch by far.
Honestly I don't think I've actually seen anyone else use both OBS to capture and Fraps for the fps counter, but as you can see from all my videos/the videos in my sig it works rather well and the quality is pretty decent.

Edit-

Tbqh I pretty much listed the only glitches on AMD cards atm and that they weren't present before 1.4.1/are rather specific to certain objects/characters in certain courses. Aside from that and some lighting issues in general, thats pretty much it, we don't even get the weird textures on characters during character select.

Bandicam(2nd option)
Thanks for the suggestion
I tried here
Well, unfortunatelly, Bandicam drops from 60 FPS to 40 FPS in my computer :(

EDIT: I'll try OBS Studio here to see if I can have better results
Thanks for the suggestion, @Darkemaste :)

There's a lot wrong with Mario Kart 8 in general... I don't think it's reasonable to be fixating over specific problems on x platform or between versions. Problems including but not limited to:

- Cascaded shadow maps only work on Mario Kart Stadium, and only on races after the first.
- Course model "large" shadow maps not used at all. Can be filled with garbage data on AMD I think, saw it once in a video. Results in areas under course overpasses etc not being shadowed. (not sure if these are prebaked)
- Dynamic Lights only illuminate bottom right of their affected circle, probably fails to read normals.
- Cubemap and specular reflections do not work at all.
- Driver specific differences: Missing Sky (NVIDIA), Spiky Polygon Models (AMD)
- Direct lighting is too harsh, also clips at a weird yellow colour instead of white.
- No Mipmaps
- Polygon Offset incorrect for some decals
- Probably a ton of minor issues which aren't obvious to see right now.

Looks like 3D World has been getting a lot of the love recently, which is why it looks and runs so great. Just have to wait for other games to follow suit.

Runner2 (EUR) boots, console region is on Europe. Sadly, you get stuck on this screen.

@Jobenblue Sorry for the typo. The meaning of "But a video is coming up" is that Smash 4 video on Cemu is coming. My mistake.

Who's hype for Brawl In the Family's 1st game coming on the Wii U?
Tadpole Treble

Just made another video, this time it is on Rainbow Road. Most likely going to be the last video for the time being in terms of Mario Kart videos. This one runs well, even with the acid skybox (gets in the way at times lol). I might work on all cup videos in the next week, as these single videos only show off one track at a time. I am also considering OBS Studio since the file sizes I get in Bandicam are quite large

Good lord my eyes

I do highly recommend OBS Studio, though, it's a joy to work with. Unlike its predecessor lol

I USE OBS classic much more options and better performance over all and smaller file sizes with high bitrrates
