Cheers Daxtsu :)

That allowed me to compile.

I tried Mario Tennis an another game but it freezes after selecting rom. Will try other things... Wait... Yup Disable L2, still not working for me

Update; the proper release doesn't work either, perhaps my roms are the issue
Assuming you're using the 3dsx build on 9.3+ the bundled libkhax is outdated, but it should be pretty straightforward to replace it with something else if you want to try that.
The CIA build doesn't have this problem.

Okay, didn't see a CIA build, ID prefer that, can I build a CIA from the make command?

So I replaced libkhax with a git pull from here https://github.com/Myriachan/libkhax, https://gbatemp.net/threads/wip-libkhax-stable-arm11-kernel-access.386648/
still having the same problem, freeze after selecting a game.

Update; Just got a cia built, wish me luck :)

AWESOME! Works great @danielps
You got to keep going! Go for the glory, go for the gold!!

I have so many fond memories playing my virtualboy!

Cheers

Whats the best settings for Mario Tennis? I played around with Maxcycle, seems to directly impact artifacts.

Mario's Tennis glitches should be fixed in the latest commit if you're building from source. The latest release is based on an older version.
Keep in mind that scoring is kind of messed up, so you might be able to play it, but it won't be fun.

Hello! I seem to be sharing a problem with one of the users above. I have a N3DS with sysnand 10.1.0.27U and boot into homebrew via ironhax and/or cubic ninja. I downloaded the last release available and placed it in the "3ds" folder of my SD card. I then created a vb folder on the root and placed a few games, including tennis, fishbone, and a few others in .vb format. When I get to the emulator, it boots but then hangs and freezes when I try to load a ROM (any of them, no splash screen or sound comes up either). I don't really have much experience manipulating the build on the computer or doing much on the system beyond loading up the homebrew channel. Any intel on what might be the cause? I tried putting all the source files in the folder, then removing them, changing debug to 1, creating a copy of the ini file and renaming it and changing the extension, all resulted in the same freeze. At present the folder just has the executable files and the icon, with vb on the root. Am I missing something or doing something wrong? Others seemed to have similar problems but none of the solutions I saw worked for me or made sense to me. Would appreciate any input. Thanks a bunch.

I mentioned it before, but current 3dsx builds don't support 9.3+.
I haven't tested it, but here's a build that should work on everything up to 10.3. It's probably not very stable, so you might as well use the CIA build.

Hey friend. Thanks for your response. I guess I missed the detail about newer firmwares. I'll try to check out that build you posted. I'd like to use the CIA build, as it seems to be the recommendation I've seen, but I'm not sure how to go about running it. My O3DS on 9.2 has an emunand that supports installing cia files, but the N3DS is on 10.1 and it doesn't support installing cia's, at least not through FBI, so I'm not sure how to get it to run. Sorry about all the questions, but if you could let me know if there's a way for me to run the cia build on my n3ds I'd be super appreciative.
