Homebrew Official WUP Installer - Title installer + Firmware spoofing [3.x - 5.4.0]

That highly depends on the version of WUP Installer that you use. I'm using one that was linked in a thread somewhere. It's for 5.4u and it absolutely freezes and I NEVER see an install OK screen. But when it freezes it's installing in the background and works every time.

The only one I found that worked for me on 5.4 displays error:00000000. If it freezes, it never installs anything for me.

Did you try the one in my link above? Came across it randomly and hurried and saved it. It's the only one I could get to work on 5.4u. But yes it freezes the whole Wii U while it's installing requiring a hard reset.

Weird. But no, I haven't tried that one specifically. I don't have the Wii U around as it is my cousins so it's returned to them now. You should probably restart after each install anyway though.

Yup. This is the build that works for me on 5.4.0 and @Kafluke has linked to it also. Load it twice, after the second time, exit to home menu and it will freeze. Wait the allotted time for the size of the update, then hard reset.

If you can access the eshop right from the get go with no prompt for update then you are on the latest fw

Of course I wouldn't go online without Tubehax so I can't access it without NNU and I can only find out which kernel exploit and nnu I have to use by trying. Or isn't there any other way?

Hmmmm. Good point. I guess you'll have to just try the exploit.

What version are you on? If you're on 5.4 go back a page and use the one posted there

Yes. The OG version should work for you on 5.3.2

Can someone confirm that the latest update for :

● super smash bros
● Mario Maker
● spaltoon

It updatable in the spoofed 5.4.0 consol and working online without any problems
