Hacking Help, how to update Mario Kart 8 to be used in Loadiine GX2?

Hello Friends, I need some Help, how to update Mario Kart 8 to be used in Loadiine GX2?

I try it with with JNUSTool, I donwload the update in the right versions, I Have a NTSC Console and game MK8 and donwload a NTSC update for MK8 it was 472 MB I guess, so I copy and paste and overwrite Code, Contend and Meta, into my game but all I got is a Black Screen or the game does not star, if I don't overwrite the game star normal but I need it with the update and the DLC, so please any help.

My Wii U versions NTSC 5.3.2 U
Mario Kart game versions NTSC (with no update)
using Loadiine GX2 v0.2
I donwload a USA versión update

Note: I also try it with NEW-NUSGrabberGUI and CDecrypt but did not get any luck.

any help please....?

I don't know how the DLC patch works but just copying the entire thing, including XMLs from code and meta, works fine, gets me up to 4.1 update with 200cc

I know it can take a while but not 30 minutes or more, my SD Card is level 10, and the others game star normaly in matter of seconds including the same Mario Kart 8 without the update, the issue is only when I copying the entire thing I download to update the game (Code, Content and Meta) to be used in Loadiine Gx2 v0.2

Wrong! I have updated mine to 4.1 just fine on loadiine and it works great. I wouldn't say something is impossible just because you haven't been able to get it done!

Do you use SSB or Mii Maker for launching Loadiine?

Well I am using Mii Maker, but it work fine without the update and the compatibility list says it could be with any of them, why, is that matter?

Use the latest new nusgrabber. Make sure that you are updating to the correct region. Before I could dump my mariokart disc with DDD title dumper I had to find a release online for loadiine. I could only find a EU version. I forgot that it was EU because everything else I have is USA. I was having the exact same issue as you and I discovered that I was trying to update my EU release with a USA update.

Just double check that your dump and your update are the same region.

Is this release truly USA? Maybe I should just use DDD on my retail disk? Anyone who has this working, can they please provide some simple directions to get it working with update?

I just did. That release you mentioned is eu. Not USA. Try using DDD and dump your disc. Then update with new nusgrabber and get the USA update. With that release you have to use eu update.

Ok I have not try that yet let me try it, one more things when I decrypt the update I donwload everythings go fine, and when I press Decrypt Donwload it says "Title successfully decrypted" but when I looking for the 3 folder (Code, Content and Meta) into the update folder where is supost to be those not be there, I can not find it, any idea...

Hmmmm not sure. Maybe delete the whole title folder and try again.

I know with the latest version of new nusgrabber on my PC it just downloads and decrypts automatically. With that version I have the box checked to use the mod version or something like that. (Not home to check)

I think you're right! It took me forever to figure it out and in the end I discovered that when it worked I had my SSBB disc in the drive and was toggling launch modes in loadiine. Good call @xavix !
