Well, afaik, the delivery service and the quallity of your product depends heavily of the company or the crew that manages them and how.

For chocolate, is very random if you get them well or melted, once I bought some midi pocky from a local reseller and the chocolate was all messed up.

hmmm. I guess if I was to import them I would have to do it know since it's extremely cold outside. I really doubt they would last if I imported them during the summer

Yup, that'll be good, and keep in mind that most delivery services doesn't take responsibility for food packages as well, and they're very picky sometimes with their policies and warranties.

You should research what's the best choice for taking that kind of service :) .

I've never imported stuff myself, though I have bought imported junk from local candy stores. Really the only thing I've ever liked and would have again would be Marble Pop.

Well, if we're going to talk about stuff other than food or drinks, I've imported a MOTHER 2 cartridge, an ice blue DS Lite and a Ness amiibo. That's about it, I think.

When I bought some GC controllers from Japan a few years back, the seller also included these small bags of this odd snack thing. Similar to pretzels but thinner and with a more spicey taste. I liked it.

My sister also brought some Kit Kats when she came home from Japan. I tried a green tea flavoured one and a strawberry cheesecake flavoured one. Cheesecake was alright, but the green tea one was not good. I love green tea, but mixing it with chocolate is dumb.

I have at least 3 stores within relatively short driving distance that carry all sorts of Japanese products. Candy, figures, random novelty items, etc. You should check to see if you have any nearby. I'd imagine the shipping from Japan is rather expensive.

i've never purchased foodstuffs from japan but i used to have a japanese friend who would just mail me stuff.
none of it was good enough i'd pay for it plus shipping especially not at inflated online prices.
sure if a lot of it was sold at stores here at normal prices i'd buy it but no other way.
