Details - Nintendo 2DS Console
sysNAND - 9.2
emuNAND - 9.2

Hello

I'm hoping someone can help me out here, I've spent the last two days working with someone trying to fix up A9LH loader on my Nintendo 2DS, I followed all the steps correctly, but, the final step is stumping both of us.

I originally used rxtools to boot into emuNAND, and played my games from there, until I used an R4 card and it deleted a file from my emuNAND, and was basically told that would happen every time unless I moved over to A9LH.

Upon bootup, it boots into sys (I Presume), holding L/R, does nothing now, as it used to work into menuhax until I was told by astronautlevel to change my theme. I would like to use emuNAND if possible, as that was the aim when I started the setup for A9LH. I use game on the CIA format, although if I had to play games on the 3DS format that wouldn't bother me in the slighest. I also use an R4 card, which obviously is why and how I'm where I am now. Any solution would have to include both.

the A9LH test file worked successfully for me, and my emuNAND was working with menuhax completely fine before downgrading to 2.1.0-4E. I since upgraded my emuNAND back to 9.2, as it was 10.7 before the whole thing started. I did the whole flashing of sys/emuNANDs.

I'm not very tech on these sorts of things, I haven't been doing these for long, so most of the stuff I'm told is still pretty much in another language. There will be things I've missed out to say in this thread, so if anyone can PM me, I'll be happy to send any screenshots and fill in any gaps and so on.

Hello

I'm hoping someone can help me out here, I've spent the last two days working with someone trying to fix up A9LH loader on my Nintendo 2DS, I followed all the steps correctly, but, the final step is stumping both of us.

Upon bootup, Aureinand does not boot up at all, it goes into a black screen after saying Bootctrl is loading. then nothing happens, rxtools fails to load when I hold R on bootup, and other things, I'm wondering if anyone has had a problem with this, and found a fix, as if I cannot fix it, I cannot use it, and I'd hate to see two days full work go down the drain. I'm unsure what I can/cannot post on this forum, so I can supply any pictures if anyone needs.

the a9lh test file worked successfully for me, and my emunand was working with menuhax completely fine before downgrading to 2.1.0-4E.

I'm sure my emunand was 9.2, as is my sysnand
EmuNAND doesn't work on 2.1.

AuReiNAND doesn't boot up for you? Do you have all the necessary files?

Actually, it sounds like your EmuNAND is on 10.7: I'm not sure how you managed to update your EmuNAND to 9.2 if it was on a bricked emunand (because it's 2.1.0-4E)

I think it's more likely you restored a SysNAND on a lower firmware, then updated it to 9.2. I'm not really sure what to suggest though (in PM we've discussed uninstalling menuhax, double-checking flashing the proper emunand.bin, and double-checking you have the correct firmware.bin/firmware90.bin files...

It seems like A9LH was installed properly, but AuReiNAND doesn't like your 3DS somehow, or your EmuNAND.bin is somehow a bad dump and you'll have to try flashing an older version which still has your original Nintendo 3DS folder ID on it. Menuhax could also be installed on EmuNAND, and you could try holding your trigger button as it's booting up emunand... I'm not entirely sure if that will work.

You could also try a different CFW that supports A9LH: Maybe you're just having bad luck with AuReiNAND, but I hope your problem gets solved!

Double-posting just to say: Problem solved through private messaging. It looks like the NANDs were re-linked when flashing an old SysNAND backup back on after getting the OTP files. Everything's running as intended now.
