It did work on Windows 8.1. What's your Graphics Card?

try search dxdiag.exe on your PC and go to Render Tab(If not, Display Tab).

go to search and type dxdiag.exe
them navigate to display tab and post the details or screenshot of it

What type of games are you trying to test?
Some Wii U games can't boot or only show blackscreen.

In Balloons(Splatoon), you can move it by holding the right mouse button. But I hope it will be fixed on the Patreon Version(which you can get it now on Patreon).
