With arm9loaderhax, since emuNAND System Settings now exits to emuNAND Home Menu, are we now able to run DSiWare from emuNAND, or do we still have to install them to sysNAND as well? Because I don't want to risk modifying sysNAND.

You still need to install them on your sysNAND.

Imagine automatic menuhax but WAY faster.

So I'm moving to reinand from rxtools 9.5 n3ds and I've successfully installed reinand (I think.) I want to update now but when I go into system settings, it doesn't show the Rei String. I know my sysNand is 9.2 and my emu is 9.5 but I want to make sure. Is it safe for me to update even though it doesn't show the Rei string?

Sounds like either you're not on the latest version, or you're using AuReiNAND.

I have a new problem haha.. so I'm trying to get ntr to work and I used the correct firmware.bin file for it yet it says the firmware is not recognized so... how to fix? Sorry for all the nooby questions

Yeah, you should be fine to update through system settings.

Hi Jack, did you replace with 9.2 firmware bin to get those to work? Just curious to know even though I never plan on removing the arm9 exploit. Jut cant get hombrew to work on 9.2
Someone sent me their cakesfw folder as you need it previously set up to work, but yes I used the firmware 9.2 .bin

@Reisyukaku

How's it cooking over there? Have you been working on reinand? A9lh? What progress are you making? I love your work!
I almost forgot to mention that i re-added sysnand (but with firmlaunch) .. its much needed with a9lh. The best part is it was too easy to do x3
I moved an mpu patch so that all i had to do was comment out loadEmu() in main and it firmalunches and reads the nand's filesystem. ofc that means you'll still see the Rei string etc because of the firm patches. But ill leave that there as a kind of signification that its using a different firm or something. So long story short, i simply made it so you can hold a button when it boots to sys instead of emu.. i still need to test a thing or two before pushing code.

In other news, that ectool has piqued my interest upon doing a little RE-ing, so im doing work related to that too i guess.

Oh man that's awesome news! A9lh seems to be the definitive hack now! I'm glad you have figured out sysnand booting so easily- it's about time you had a break lol

Is ectool that wii u thing?

Would you consider a one time build of rei that is region free or is it more complicated than that?

Then, only I remobe Loademu from main.c for boot reinand in sysnand a9lh?
