ROM Hack How do you place in texture/model hack in 3ds without Salty/Hans?

Can i use the method of patching the dt with smash command ir something and repack it as a rom then convert to cia? Will the dlc override any edits made to the oringal game?

I have an JPN 3ds and i dont think there is a saltysd for that region unless it changed recently.

Sure you can (decrypt9 "cia decryptor -full", packhack "cia", edit files, packhack "3dsb", 3ds simple cia 4.3)

Maybe. I don't know the specific contents of Smash updates and expansions.

With that method, its just rebuilding the editied game or the update? If just the game I wont be able to change any of the dlc character stuff.

The game. Those tools probably can't correctly create cias with the titleids of updates/expansions, time to learn ctrtool, 3dstool, makerom
